The Seahawks signed Rice to the practice squad Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Rice was cut from New England's practice squad in mid-November and it didn't take him long to find a new home. He has yet to be active this season.

The Patriots cut Rice from the practice squad Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Rice joined the Patriots' practice squad last Tuesday but loses his spot to Jonathan Ward, who joins New England with Rhamondre Stevenson (toe) and Terrell Jennings (knee) battling injuries in the backfield.

Brenden Rice: Joining Pats' practice squad
New England signed Rice to its practice squad Tuesday.
In a corresponding move, the Patriots released running back Jonathan Ward from their practice squad. Rice didn't make the Chargers' roster this season after they drafted him in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft, but he's now getting another shot to prove himself in New England.

Chargers' Brenden Rice: Set to be dropped
Rice is slated to be waived by the Chargers, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Rice appeared in three of the team's preseason contests, reeling in three catches for 32 yards. The wide receiver appeared in three regular-season contests with Los Angeles in 2024, failing to record any stats while playing three offensive snaps and 10 snaps on special teams. Rice will now be placed on waivers, and if he goes unclaimed, there's a solid chance he sticks around as a member of the Chargers' practice squad.
