Chandler Martin: Visits Eagles
Martin visited with the Eagles on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
The 23-year-old appears to have overcome an undisclosed injury that caused him to be let go by the Eagles in mid-June after failing to pass a physical. If this visit goes well and Martin gets another shot in Philadelphia, he'd face an uphill battle for a spot on the team's 53-man roster, having played just 34 special-teams snaps last season in Baltimore.

Chandler Martin: Getting waived
Philadelphia waived Martin (undisclosed) with a failed physical designation Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Martin was waived by the Eagles with the same designation earlier in June before re-signing with the club just two days later, so it's possible he winds up back in the fold at some point. As long as he does remain gone, Chance Campbell is a candidate to pick up the leftover practice reps.

Eagles' Chandler Martin: Back with Philly
Philadelphia re-signed Martin on Wednesday, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports.
Just two days after being waived by the Eagles, Martin is now back in the building as OTAs resume. He played 34 snaps in his rookie season with Baltimore in 2025, all of which came on special teams.

Chandler Martin: Waived by Philly
Martin (undisclosed) was waived with a failed physical designation by the Eagles on Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
The linebacker signed with the Eagles in March after tearing his ACL in late November as a member of the Ravens. Martin played on 34 special-teams snaps for Baltimore in 2025.

Eagles' Chandler Martin: Gets look from Philadelphia
The Eagles signed Martin (knee) to a contract Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
As an undrafted rookie last season, Martin played three regular-season games with Baltimore, with all 34 of his snaps coming on special teams. He tore his ACL in late November and ended the campaign on IR. It's unclear how far along Martin is in his recovery, and there's certainly a chance he won't be ready for the start of the 2026 campaign.

Chandler Martin: Slated for season-ending surgery
Martin needs surgery to repair his ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2025 campaign, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Martin was elevated from the practice squad each of the past three weeks and tallied 34 special-teams snaps for the Ravens during that span, recording five tackles. However, it appears he tore his ACL on Thanksgiving against Cincinnati, and he will thus see his campaign come to a close. The typical recovery time from ACL surgery is at least nine months, so Martin may not be ready for training camp next year.
