  • Rams' Blake Corum: Primed for key role again

Corum remains positioned atop the running back depth chart alongside starter Kyren Williams following the Rams' offseason program, Stu Jackson of the team's official site reports.

Corum, a 2024 third-round pick, did little as a rookie but carved out a notable role in 2025. While suiting up for all 17 regular-season games last year, Corum rushed 145 times for 746 yards and six touchdowns. He remained a limited contributor as a receiver, however, totaling just eight catches for 36 yards. Corum is arguably the most explosive runner in Los Angeles' backfield, but Williams remains entrenched as the lead option due to his three-down skill set. Even in a complementary role, Corum projects to remain productive and would carry significant upside if an opportunity for a larger workload emerged.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Leading rusher on nine attempts

Corum took nine carries for 55 yards while catching all three of his targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 31-27 playoff loss to Seattle.

Corum finished Sunday's NFC Championship Game as his club's leading rusher after lead back Kyren Williams (10-39-0) struggled to gain traction on the ground. The 24-year-old Corum stood out at times this year while spelling the starter, finishing his sophomore campaign 746 rushing yards and six touchdowns while appearing in all 17 regular-season games for the Rams. Head coach Sean McVay figures to continue leaning on both of his talented young backs in 2026, with Williams beginning the year as the starter and preferred fantasy option.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Falls out of favor Sunday

Corum rushed six times for 19 yards and did not receive a target in Sunday's 20-17 overtime win against the Bears.

Lead back Kyren Williams (21-87-2) stole the show on offense while Corum struggled to get off the ground in Sunday's playoff victory. Corum had registered double-digit carries in five of Los Angeles' previous six contests dating back to Week 14 of the regular season, so this unusual dip in usage may have been matchup-related. Given recent trends, it wouldn't be surprising to see Corum resume splitting backfield work with Williams as the Rams prepare to face the Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game next Sunday.

  • Rams' Blake Corum: Near-even split with Williams

Corum rushed the ball 11 times for 45 yards in Saturday's 34-31 wild-card win over the Panthers. He added two receptions on two targets for 13 yards.

Corum worked in a nearly even split with Kyren Williams, totaling 13 touches to Williams' 15. Corum was moderately efficient but was unable to break any big gains, as his longest rush went for only eight yards. While Williams will likely have the better of the role in the divisional round, Corum should retain a significant workload.
