Seahawks' Justin Jones: Reunites with Seattle
The Seahawks signed Jones to a contract Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Jones was waived by Seattle previously in August but will now make a return to the team. The running back was likely re-signed to play Emanuel Wilson's (hamstring) role in Friday's preseason finale against the Chiefs. It is highly unlikely that Jones makes it much longer than Friday with the team and will likely be waived come cut-down day. While he may not make the 53-man roster, the running back has a good chance to be a practice squad staple for the team throughout 2026.

Justin Jones: Let go by Seattle
The Seahawks waived Jones on Monday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Jones joined the Seahawks' training camp roster in early August and played in the team's preseason opener against the Cowboys, when he logged 10 snaps (one on offense, nine on special teams) and logged tackle and one carry for three yards. Assuming he clears waivers, Jones will look to join a team in need of backfield depth and a contributor on special teams.
