Brandon Flowers: Officially retiring
Flowers is expected to officially retire on Tuesday, Steve Wyche of the NFL Network reports.
Flowers spent six seasons with the Chiefs before playing his last three for the Chargers. He most recently visited with the Cardinals prior to training camp, but has ultimately decided to retire from football. Flowers will finish his career with 487 tackles, three sacks, 21 interceptions, one forced fumble and one touchdown across nine seasons.

Brandon Flowers: Visiting with Cardinals
Flowers will visit with the Cardinals on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Schefter noted that Flowers, who finished last season on injured reserve due to a series of concussions, is also in contact with the Patriots. However, if he were to sign with the Cardinals, he'd have a much clearer path to a starting gig, as the No. 2 job opposite Patrick Peterson is seemingly up for grabs.
