Vance Walker: Nearing full recovery
Walker (knee) is expected to receive full medical clearance next week, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Walker missed the entire 2016 season after tearing his ACL last August. The former Bronco should be fully healthy in time for training camp, which will help the free agent's case for landing a contract from a team.

Broncos' Vance Walker: Will miss 2016 season
Walker has an ACL injury that will cause him to miss the entire 2016 season, Mike Klis of The Denver Post reports.
Walker was carted off the field during Monday's practice, and an MRI confirmed the worst case scenario. The veteran defensive lineman was projected to backup Derek Wolfe on the left side of the line this season. Calvin Heurtelou now figures to slide into that role.

Broncos' Vance Walker: Carted off field Monday
Walker was carted off the field on Monday after suffering what an injury to his right leg, Nicki Jhabvala of the Denver Post reports.
Walker was returning to practice on Monday after missing time due to a back injury before he went down early on in practice. He was later seen leaving the Broncos' team facility using crutches and wearing a leg brace. He'll undergo an MRI to determine the severity of the injury in the near future. Look for Calvin Heurtelou to see some extra reps with Walker out.

Broncos' Vance Walker: Could be in line for starting role
Malik Jackson bolted from Denver to Jacksonville, The Denver Post reports.
Jackson's payday leaves Walker as the most likely starter opposite Derek Wolfe on Denver's front. Walker registered 33 tackles and two sacks in a jack-of-all-trades role in 2015, but didn't join Denver's sack parade in the playoffs. More of a run stuffer than pass rusher, don't expect Walker to recreate Jackson's production should he manage to hold onto the starting job. More likely, Denver will use Kenny Anunike or an import in pass-rushing situations.
