  • Devils' Brenden Dillon: Registers assist

Dillon notched an assist, three hits, three blocked shots and two PIM in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Ducks. Dillon has a helper in each of the last two games, giving him four assists through 12 games this season. Since the Devils welcomed Brett Pesce and Luke Hughes back from their respective stints on injured reserve, Dillon's ice time has taken a nosedive, though he's still listed in a top-four role. The 33-year-old blueliner has logged just six shots on net while adding 29 hits, 27 blocks, 22 PIM and a plus-2 rating. His physical play is consistent, but offense will be hard to come by if he slips down the lineup.

  • Devils' Brenden Dillon: First helper with new team

Dillon logged an assist, three hits, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Thursday's 4-2 loss to the Maple Leafs. Dillon picked up his first point as a Devil in his third game with the team. The 33-year-old blueliner has opened his New Jersey tenure on the top pairing alongside Dougie Hamilton. It's a good spot and one that could lead to some trickle-down offense, but Dillon's game is based on physicality and playing a shutdown role. He has seven hits, six blocked shots and 11 PIM over three contests in 2024-25.

  • Devils' Brenden Dillon: Inks three-year contract

Dillon (hand) signed a three-year, $12 million contract with New Jersey on Monday, according to Sportsnet's Luke Gazdic. Dillon compiled eight goals, 20 points, 79 shots on net, 111 blocked shots and 241 hits in 77 regular-season contests with Winnipeg in 2023-24. He will provide the Devils with some depth on the blue line and could be a veteran partner for Simon Nemec. The 33-year-old Dillon missed the final two games of Winnipeg's first-round series against Colorado after suffering a cut to his hand by a skate. Still, he should be ready for training camp in the fall.

Dillon is stuck in a 12-game goal drought during which he has recorded four assists, 10 shots on goal and 45 hits while averaging 19:49 of ice time per contest. With Dillon sidelined, Logan Stanley stepped into the lineup for Game 4 and figures to remain in that role heading into Tuesday's contest.

  • Jets' Brenden Dillon: Out Sunday

Dillon (hand) won't play Sunday against the Avalanche, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports. While Dillon has been ruled out for Game 4, there's a chance he could return Tuesday when the Jets return home for Game 5. Still, it's a tough blow for Winnipeg -- the veteran blueliner had three assists through the first three games of the series. Logan Stanley is expected to work on the second pairing in Dillon's absence.

  • Jets' Brenden Dillon: Questionable for Sunday

Dillon (hand) didn't suffer any muscle or tendon damage after being cut by a skate during a scrum at the end of Friday's 6-2 loss to Colorado in Game 3. Although it's great news that he didn't sustain a more serious injury, the 33-year-old defenseman did require stitches and remains questionable for Game 4 versus the Avalanche on Sunday, Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press reports Saturday. Dillon has three assists, four PIM, 12 hits and six blocks while averaging 21:04 of ice time across three playoff contests this year. He also accumulated eight goals, 20 points, 92 PIM, 241 hits and 111 blocks in 77 regular-season outings. If Dillon can't play Sunday, Logan Stanley will likely draw into the lineup.

Dillon suffered a hand injury at the end of Friday's 6-2 loss to Colorado in Game 3, according to Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site. There were fisticuffs at the final buzzer, and Dillon picked up roughing minors against Jack Johnson and Brandon Duhaime. Coach Rick Bowness said after the game that there was no update on Dillon's status as the defenseman was still being evaluated. If Dillon is unavailable for Sunday's Game 4 matchup, Logan Stanley or Colin Miller could be inserted into the lineup.

Dillon logged an assist and three hits in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Avalanche in Game 2. Dillon already has three helpers over two playoff games -- he logged just one assist across his last nine regular-season outings. The 33-year-old defenseman is better known for his physical and defensive play than his offense, though he put up 20 points, 241 hits and 111 blocked shots in 77 contests during the regular season. He should continue to see time on the Jets' second pairing.

Dillon notched two assists, three hits, two blocked shots and a plus-3 rating in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Avalanche in Game 1. Dillon did his job well defensively and still had enough in the tank to help out on goals by Josh Morrissey and Adam Lowry. This was Dillon's first multi-point effort since Nov. 18. The veteran defenseman had 20 points, 241 hits, 111 blocked shots and 92 PIM over 77 regular-season appearances, offering some toughness in a top-four role.

Dillon registered a hit and a plus-3 rating in a 5-2 win over the Sabres on Sunday. After missing the last game with an illness, Dillon returned to his regular spot on the second pairing with partner Neal Pionk. Dillon finished with two shots, one hit, one blocked shot and a plus-3 rating in 17:47 of ice time. He can be a solid depth piece or streamer in deeper leagues for his contribution in hits -- he has 30 hits in his last eight games -- but his lack of offensive production limits Dillon's fantasy value.

It's the first point in 12 games for Dillon, whose last goal came Jan. 9. He's up to seven goals, a new career high, and 16 points through 54 games this season. While the 33-year-old blueliner won't offer much offensively, he certainly brings some physicality, having racked up 162 hits and 72 blocked shots on the campaign.

  • Jets' Brenden Dillon: Eligible to play Saturday

Dillon has served his three-game ban and will be available to face Vancouver on Saturday. Dillon's return figures to see Logan Stanley relegated back to the press box. For his part, the 33-year-old Dillon was stuck in a seven-game pointless streak prior to his suspension and probably shouldn't be expected to offer much in the way of offensive upside moving forward.

Dillon has been suspended three games for an illegal check to the head of Pittsburgh's Noel Acciari in Tuesday's game. Dillon hit Acciari high in the neutral zone, causing an injury to the Penguins forward. The three-game suspension will see Dillon miss the rematch against the Penguins on Saturday as well as Thursday's game versus the Flyers and next Wednesday's tilt versus the Sharks.
