  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Lends helper in loss

Coyle notched an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 6-4 loss to the Maple Leafs. Coyle ended a three-game slump with the helper. He hasn't gotten on the scoresheet in more than three consecutive contests this season, which has made Coyle somewhat of a disappointment in fantasy following his 60-point 2023-24 campaign. He's at 10 goals, four assists, 59 shots on net, 57 hits, 30 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 41 outings in 2024-25 while maintaining a middle-six role.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Keeps scoring streak alive

Coyle scored a goal in Friday's 6-2 loss to the Blue Jackets. Coyle found the back of the net for the third game in a row, though this time, his goal came when the outcome was already decided and with the Bruins down 6-1. Coyle is up to 10 goals this season.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Tallies two points

Coyle registered a goal, an assist, a plus-3 rating and three shots during Monday's 4-1 win over the Capitals. Coyle has points in consecutive games and paid instant dividends after being moved to the top line alongside Brad Marchand and Elias Lindholm. With David Pastrnak (upper body) uncertain for Friday's action, the Bruins will need Coyle to keep distancing himself from an anemic start to the season that saw him produce just seven goals and nine points over the first 34 games.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Lights lamp Saturday

Coyle scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 3-1 win over the Sabres. This tally ended Coyle's eight-game goal drought, during which he had just one assist. The 32-year-old has mostly served as a third-line center in 2024-25, but he was moved up to right wing on the top line for Saturday's contest. Coyle has eight goals, two assists, 46 shots on net, 54 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating through 35 appearances. If he sticks in the top six, it could unlock more offense in his game.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Notches helper in overtime win

Coyle recorded an assist and three shots on goal in Saturday's 4-3 overtime win over the Flyers. Coyle hadn't recorded an assist since Nov. 7 versus the Flames, though he had five goals over 13 games between helpers. The 32-year-old center set up the second of Trent Frederic's two tallies in Saturday's contest. Coyle is now at nine points, 42 shots on net, 45 hits, 23 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating over 29 appearances. He remains in a third-line role and will need more consistency to move up the depth chart.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Joins the party in win

Coyle scored two goals on three shots, recorded one block and added one hit in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Canadiens. Coyle was part of the first-period fun when Boston scored three times within 70 seconds. His was the third of that trio, as Coyle eventually controlled a loose rebound and scored on a backhander while facing away from the net. He later took advantage of lax backchecking and deked Montreal's Cayden Primeau early in the third to given Boston a 5-1 lead. Coyle had been one of several Bruins in a scoring slumber, but he now has three goals in the last two games.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Nets lone goal in loss

Coyle scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Penguins. Coyle snapped a four-game skid with his goal just 1:24 into the game. That was all the Bruins could muster against Tristan Jarry and the Penguins -- a concerning sign giving the visitors' myriad defensive struggles. The Bruins' offense hasn't been anything to write home about either, and that's been obvious with Coyle's own performance. He has five goals, one assist, 35 shots on net, 41 hits, 20 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 25 outings, and three of his five tallies have come on the power play.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Tallies lone goal on power play

Coyle scored a power-play goal on four shots, added two hits and went minus-2 in Monday's 5-1 loss to the Blue Jackets. Coyle has scored twice on eight shots over the last three games, though that accounts for nearly half of the Bruins' five goals in that span. The 32-year-old center had a slow start to the season and isn't all the way back, though he has four points over nine contests in November. He's at four goals, one assist, 31 shots on net, 31 hits, 18 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating through 20 outings overall.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Scores in blowout loss Thursday

Coyle scored a goal, took three shots and recorded a hit in Thursday's 7-2 loss to the Stars. The Bruins looked drastically overmatched throughout this entire contest, but Coyle made his presence felt by notching his third goal of the campaign. That said, the center has only three goals and four points across 18 contests in 2024-25. His production has been minimal and doesn't warrant serious consideration for a roster spot, but it's worth noting he's more valuable in formats that reward physicality since he's also racked up 29 hits and 17 blocked shots.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Power-play goal in win

Coyle scored a power-play goal on four shots, added two hits and blocked two shots in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Kraken. Coyle has had a quiet start to 2024-25 -- this was just his second tally and point of the campaign. He went seven games without finding the scoresheet prior to Sunday, posting eight shots on net, 11 hits and a minus-4 rating in that span. The center has a total of 18 shots, 24 hits, 13 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating over 13 appearances. He's hardly the only Bruin to struggle so far, which has allowed him to maintain a top-six role.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Tallies on power play

Coyle scored a power-play goal on three shots in Wednesday's 5-3 win over the Avalanche. Coyle's first-period tally was his first point of the season. The 32-year-old center has maintained a second-line spot, but he's picked up just six shots on net with 10 hits, seven blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over five appearances. Coyle earned career highs with 25 goals and 60 points in 82 regular-season games last year, but his slow start to 2024-25 will jeopardize his chances of a repeat performance.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Slides assist Tuesday

Coyle notched an assist, eight hits, two blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Panthers in Game 5. Coyle set up Charlie McAvoy's second-period tally, which was the game-winner. With three points over five contests in the second round, Coyle has surpassed his production of two helpers over seven first-round outings versus the Maple Leafs. He's still not doing great overall, but he's added 56 hits, 23 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating to his five points across 12 playoff appearances while holding down a top-six role.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Contributes helper in win

Coyle logged an assist, seven hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Monday's 5-1 win over the Panthers in Game 1. Coyle set up Brandon Carlo's tally late in the second period. The 32-year-old Coyle has been a bit quiet on offense during the playoffs, though that hasn't prevented him from being a physical force in a top-six role. The center has three assists, 13 shots on net, 34 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating this postseason.

Coyle has added six shots on net, 15 hits, six blocked shots and four PIM through four playoff outings while continuing to see top-six usage.

The 32-year-old Coyle hadn't posted a multi-point effort since March 16. The center is up to 25 goals, 60 points (11 on the power play, five shorthanded), 146 shots on net, 126 hits, 59 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 80 appearances.

The 32-year-old center has a modest three-game point streak going, and Saturday's tally was his 25th of the season -- the first time in his career that Coyle has reached that plateau. Coyle is also two points away from the first 60-point campaign of his career.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Breaks deadlock in third period

Coyle scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Predators. Coyle got loose on a rush after Linus Ullmark cleared the puck to Brad Marchand, who sent in a pass. The goal was Coyle's fourth shorthanded point of the campaign. The 32-year-old center has cooled off a bit with three goals and three helpers over 15 contests since the start of March. For the season, he's at 24 tallies, 56 points 142 shots on net, 119 hits, 53 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 76 outings. His next point would set a career high.

Coyle's first tally was his 22nd of the campaign, which is a new NHL career mark. He had 21 goals with the Wild in 2015-16. He's up to 21 goals, 49 points (eight on the power play), 117 shots on net, 84 hits, 40 blocked shots and a plus-8 rating through 60 appearances in a top-six role this season. He's poised to finish with a career year and could challenge for his first 60-point campaign.

  • Bruins' Charlie Coyle: Pots pair in loss

Coyle scored twice in Thursday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flames. Coyle scored the opening goal for the Bruins on a terrible giveaway by Jacob Markstrom that ended up in an empty cage. Coyle followed that up with another goal early in the third period to tie the game at 2-2 -- it was his 20th marker on the season, a milestone he has only hit one other time in his career. The 31-year old center has been on a drought of late -- he hadn't scored since Jan. 27 prior to this contest. Coyle is a reliable two-way center who can contribute in several categories and will provide occasional scoring outbursts.
