Islanders' Anders Lee: One of each Thursday
Lee netted a goal, registered an assist and fired four shots on target in Thursday's 6-3 win over Colorado.
Lee grabbed the second goal of the game for the Isles before he assisted Adam Pelech's tally in the second period. With the pair of points, Lee is up to six goals, nine assists, 74 shots on net and 26 hits through 28 games this season. The 14-year NHL veteran is currently behind the 50-plus point pace that he's accustomed to, but has four points and 23 shots on goal in his last seven games, showcasing that he hasn't lost his ability to create goal-scoring opportunities. His current fantasy value is best in deep leagues, but his extensive track record makes him a decent player to hold onto in most formats.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Scores PP goal Friday
Lee scored a power-play goal in Friday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Flyers.
Lee completed the Islanders' comeback in the second period with a power-play goal after a deflection with only 47 seconds left in the frame. Lee has five goals on the season, but he seems to be trending in the right direction after a prolonged drought between mid-October and mid-November that saw him score just one goal across 16 contests. He's found the twine in two of his last four appearances.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Prevents shutout
Lee scored a goal on five shots and added two hits in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blues.
Lee snapped a six-game point drought with the tally, which broke up Jordan Binnington's shutout bid with 3:20 left in the third period. The 35-year-old Lee has picked up his points in bunches this season, though his aforementioned drought was his longest of the year. He's at four goals, 12 points, 56 shots, 21 hits, 16 blocked shots, 19 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 22 contests in a middle-six role.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Scores late goal
Lee netted a goal in Saturday's 5-0 victory over the Rangers.
Lee slammed the door shut by tallying a goal with 30 seconds remaining in regulation. The 35-year-old winger is up to three goals, 11 points and 43 shots on net in 15 games this season. He has three points in his last four games and is on pace early on to reach 50 points for the sixth time in 14 seasons with the Islanders.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Assists on game-winner
Lee recorded an assist and put five shots on goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
With an apple on Simon Holmstrom's game-winning goal, Lee ended a three-game point drought to help send the Islanders home with their second consecutive win. Overall, the 35-year-old winger is up to seven assists, nine points, and 37 shots through 12 appearances this year. Lee has struggled to score goals this season with just one multi-goal game this year. However, his playmaking presence has been apparent as he leads the Islanders in assists. Once the shots he fires start to end up in the back of the net, Lee should have a case to be rostered in most fantasy leagues that value points. For now, he is a solid option that can consistently provide shots on goal.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Seven points in last three games
Lee put up a trio of assists Thursday in a 7-2 win over Detroit.
Lee has been on fire recently, logging seven points (two goals, five assists) in his past three appearances after going four games without a point to start the season. His shot total has increased significantly over his last three outings -- he has 15 in that span compared to eight in four matchups before that. Lee delivered 54 points last season, so the 35-year-old will be hopeful he can repeat that feat or exceed it this year, and he's off to a solid start.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Plays hero in three-point effort
Le scored two goals, one the game-winner, and added an assist in Saturday's 5-4 victory over the Senators.
With just over a minute left in regulation, the Islanders' captain won a battle for the puck with Jordan Spence in the offensive zone, spun around and tucked it home behind Linus Ullmark to break a 4-4 tie. The three-point performance marked the first points of the season for Lee, who got held off the scoresheet through New York's first four games. The 35-year-old is closing in on a big milestone -- he needs nine more goals to reach 300 for his career.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Expected back Thursday
Lee (upper body) is slated to play in Thursday's preseason finale against the Flyers, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Lee was expected to miss between one and two weeks when he was initially hurt, so it appears his recovery went smoother than anticipated. His addition to the lineup Thursday should clear the way for him to resume his top-six role for Opening Night against the Penguins on Oct. 9. In addition to the first line, Lee should see plenty of minutes with the No. 1 power-play unit.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Sheds non-contact sweater
Lee (upper body), who has been ruled out for Monday's preseason game against the Rangers, was seen in a regular sweater during the Islanders' morning skate, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.
Lee has been dealing with an upper-body injury over the past few days that was expected to sideline him for 1-2 weeks. While it's not yet clear when he'll be able to return to game action, the fact that he was able to shed his non-contact sweater Monday suggests that he's trending in the right direction. His status for the Islanders' Opening Night matchup against the Penguins on Oct. 9 hasn't yet been revealed, but it seems unlikely that the 35-year-old winger will be forced to miss much, if any, time to begin the regular season.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Facing 1-2 week absence
Lee is expected to miss 1-2 weeks with an upper-body injury, the Islanders announced Wednesday.
If Lee's injury lingers into the two-week range, he could be in danger of missing Opening Night against the Penguins on Oct. 9. The veteran winger has missed just one regular-season game over the past three seasons, including 2024-25 when he scored 29 goals on a career-high 233 shots. Still, given his offensive upside and role with the man advantage, Lee should be a top-end fantasy target heading into the 2025-26 campaign.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Strong season continues
Lee had a goal and an assist in a Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Philadelphia.
It was Lee's 29th snipe of the season. That's remarkable for a winger many had written off as too slow and old to succeed. It's Lee's third-highest season goal total of his career and the most since 2017-18 (40). It's also the second-highest point total (54) of his career. Lee turns 35 in July, and his value will drop soon enough. In the meantime, he's making a late-season run with four points (two goals, two assists) across his last four games. He might help if you're still trying to stack points over the next few days.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Gets closer to 30-goal mark
Lee found the back of the net on his only shot and went plus-1 in Tuesday's 7-6 overtime loss to Nashville.
Lee was credited with his 28th goal of the season after Adam Pelech fired a slap shot that caromed off Bo Horvat and Lee before finding its way into the net. The 34-year-old Lee needs just two goals to reach 30 for the third time in his career, a feat he hasn't achieved since 2017-18 when he potted 40. The Islanders have five games remaining on their schedule, so Lee has an opportunity to get there. New York's captain has accumulated 28 goals, 52 points and a plus-9 rating over 77 appearances in 2024-25.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Registers helper in win
Lee produced an assist in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Capitals.
Lee ended his two-game slide on offense. While he doesn't have a multi-point effort since Jan. 28, this was just his third stretch of multiple contests without a point in that same span. Lee is up to 27 goals, 24 helpers, 219 shots on net, 119 hits and a plus-8 rating over 76 outings. This is his highest point total in six years, so Lee can help fantasy managers both as a depth scorer and a source of physical play.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Reaches 50-point mark in loss
Lee scored a goal on 10 shots and went minus-2 in Sunday's 6-4 loss to the Hurricanes.
Lee finished March with four goals and five assists over 15 games, though he got on the scoresheet in consecutive contests just twice. The 34-year-old winger was a force in this game, tying it at 4-4 in the third period. He's racked up 26 shots over his last four outings. For the season, Lee is up to 27 goals, 50 points, 218 shots on net, 115 hits and a plus-9 rating through 73 appearances. This is the fifth 50-point campaign of his career.

Islanders' Anders Lee: Scores in Monday's shootout loss
Lee scored a goal on seven shots and added four hits in Monday's 4-3 shootout loss to the Blue Jackets.
Lee has three goals and four assists over 12 outings in March. That's not outstanding offense, but he's been pretty steady by going no more than one game at a time without a point during the month. The 34-year-old winger has 26 goals, 48 points, 199 shots on net, 111 hits and a plus-16 rating through 70 appearances, and he should be able to get to the 50-point mark for the fifth time in his career.

Lee logged an assist, two hits and two PIM in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens.

The 34-year-old is up to 47 points, 190 shots on net, 105 hits and a plus-16 rating over 68 appearances this season. Lee continues to put up solid offense with a physical edge in his second-line role.

The 34-year-old winger continues to offer some scoring upside from his second-line role. He's now at 46 points, 184 shots on net, 102 hits, 29 PIM and a plus-17 rating through 66 appearances.

Lee put the Islanders on the board with a second-period tally, briefly tying the game at 1-1. Over his last six outings, he has two goals and two assists. The winger is up to 25 goals, 45 points, 183 shots on net, 98 hits and a plus-17 rating across 64 appearances this season.
