  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Tallies on power play in loss

Duclair scored a power-play goal, added two PIM and went minus-3 in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the Kraken. Duclair's barrage of goals continues -- he has five of them over the last five games, accounting for nearly half of the Islanders' 12 goals in that span. The 30-year-old got the scoring started 2:38 into the game, but it was all Kraken after that. Duclair is up to 12 goals, 23 points, 62 shots on net, 29 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 47 appearances. He's worth rostering in fantasy as long as his offense is hot.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Scores two goals Monday

Duclair scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Monday's 4-3 win over the Canucks. Duclair has been playing at a high level in recent weeks and could be considered a player worth targeting in most formats now that he holds a top-six role in the Isles' lineup. Duclair has recorded nine points (seven goals, two assists) and a plus-7 rating in seven games since the beginning of January, and he should continue to get looks on offense as he'll aim to take advantage of what has been his most prolific stretch of the campaign.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Nets lone goal in win

Duclair scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 1-0 win over the Oilers. Duclair has five goals and two assists over his last five points. His tally Thursday at 13:42 of the third period broke a scoreless deadlock, and it was all the help Ilya Sorokin needed to get the win. Duclair is up to a total of nine goals, 20 points (three on the power play), 55 shots on net, 26 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 44 appearances. The 30-year-old winger is starting to get consistent top-six minutes, which is paying off for now. Fantasy managers can consider Duclair a decent speculative add while his offense is hot.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Pots goal in loss

Duclair scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Jets. Duclair has played in four straight contests after three healthy scratches between Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. The 30-year-old winger was on the top line Tuesday, scoring at 7:40 of the second period to spark a comeback push that wiped out an initial 3-0 deficit. Duclair is now at eight goals, 19 points, 53 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating over 43 appearances, which is noticeably better than his 11-point effort in 44 games a year ago.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Records career-high five points

Duclair posted three goals and two assists in Tuesday's 9-0 win over the Devils. The Islanders' offense was firing on all cylinders Tuesday, and Duclair was the standout performer for the team despite holding a bottom-six role. Even though the five-point output turned heads, don't be surprised if this is an outlier. The 30-year-old recorded 13 points in 39 appearances before this outburst, and he was a healthy scratch in three of the team's previous five games.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Three helpers in last three games

Duclair delivered two assists, including one on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over Tampa Bay. Duclair has three assists in his last three games, but he has struggled with just one goal and five assists in his past 19 outings. His power-play assist in Saturday's contest was his first point with the man advantage since Oct. 11. Duclair has four tallies, 12 points, 43 shots on net and 22 blocked shots through 33 appearances this campaign.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Snaps 14-game goal drought

Duclair scored a goal Tuesday in a 2-1 win over Tampa Bay. It stood as the game-winning marker. Early in the third, Duclair poked the puck away from Pontus Holmberg to teammate Calum Ritchie, who quickly whipped it back to the winger. Duclair one-timed it from the edge of the left circle and beat Andrei Vasilevskiy blocker side. It was Duclair's first goal since Nov. 4 (14 games; four assists). The 30-year-old Duclair has just four goals and five assists in 27 games this season, and he needs to be left on the wire. His opportunity to step into a scoring role on the Island simply hasn't worked.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Chips in twice

Duclair had two assists and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-0 win against the Rangers. Duclair had a hand in the goals scored by Jonathan Drouin and Anders Lee. The 30-year-old Duclair is up to three assists and six points across 15 games this season. His second season with the Islanders is off to a better start than last year, when he posted 11 points across 44 games. Duclair likely won't have value outside of deeper leagues that put a premium on points, and there are likely better options on the waiver wire unless he can recapture the form he had two seasons ago between San Jose and Tampa Bay.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Rare goal in shootout loss

Duclair scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Bruins. Duclair put the Isles up 1-0 early in the second period with a quick turnaround shot that beat Jeremy Swayman blocker side through a screen. At some point, we all need to give up on the idea that Duclair will ever be the winger he was in Florida in 2021-22 -- he put up 31 goals and 58 points in 74 regular-season games during that campaign. Duclair hasn't reached the 75-game mark in a regular season since 2015-16, and he's on his eighth franchise. He delivers in small spurts; throw him and his four points (three goals) in 13 games back on the wire.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Gets goal in shootout loss

Duclair scored a goal Saturday in a 4-3 shootout loss to Philadelphia. Duclair tapped in a pass through the slot to push the Islanders up 2-0 early in the second period. He has battled consistency issues early in the season, contributing only two goals and one assist through eight games.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Tallies goal in loss

Duclair scored a goal and had two shots on net in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Capitals. Duclair scored his first goal of the season on a power play in the late stages of Saturday's second period. The 30-year-old's first season in Long Island was stymied by injuries a year ago, as he appeared in just 44 games. His 11-point output was a big step back from his 42-point outburst in 2023-24, but Duclair could bounce back if he stays healthy. Skating in the Islanders' top six on the left wing, Duclair is best left off fantasy rosters outside of deeper leagues for now, but his goal-scoring potential makes him a name to watch moving forward.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Set to play Friday

Duclair (upper body) is slated to play in Friday's preseason game against the Devils, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports. Duclair missed Thursday's preseason game against the Rangers due to his upper-body injury, but he was considered day-to-day and will return to game action in the second half of a back-to-back set. The 30-year-old made 44 regular-season appearances for the Islanders last year and recorded seven goals, four assists, 26 hits and 21 blocked shots while averaging 15:03 of ice time.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Likely to report for training camp

Duclair (personal) will probably report to training camp in the fall, per Arthur Staple of The Athletic on Saturday. Duclair produced seven goals, 11 points, 60 shots on net, 21 blocked shots and 26 hits across 44 appearances before missing the final eight games of the 2024-25 regular season due to a personal matter. He should be in the mix for a top-six role going into the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Steps away from team

Head coach Patrick Roy said Thursday that Duclair has stepped away from the team for personal reasons, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports. While it's not yet clear how long Duclair will be away from the team, Roy said that the 29-year-old needed some time off to reflect and that the Islanders plan to give him all the time he needs. Duclair has made 44 appearances for the Islanders this season, recording seven goals, four assists, 26 hits and 21 blocked shots while averaging 15:03 of ice time.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Nets power-play goal

Duclair scored a power-play goal on his lone shot on net in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens. Duclair opened the scoring on a power play early in the first period. The 29-year-old winger is up to seven goals, 11 points and 54 shots on net across 38 appearances this season. Thursday's twine-finder ended a five-game goal drought for Duclair, who has struggled this calendar year. Unless he can string together points in consecutive games, we might not see another late-season resurgence from Duclair as he had with Tampa Bay a season ago. However, it is encouraging to see him playing top six minutes at even strength and on New York's second power-play unit.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Strikes first on power play

Duclair scored a power-play goal on two shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Sharks. Duclair snapped a four-game goal drought, a span in which he was also scratched once. The 29-year-old winger is in a top-line role at even strength once again, but he's struggled to find any consistency in his first year with the Islanders. He's at six goals, four helpers, 46 shots on net and a minus-10 rating over 32 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Ends goal drought Sunday

Duclair scored a goal on four shots and added two PIM in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Stars. Duclair snapped a seven-game goal drought when he brought the Islanders back within one in the third period, but they still fell short. The 29-year-old winger is still struggling to get back into a rhythm after missing a large chunk of the first half of the season due to a lower-body injury. He's at five goals, nine points, 37 shots on net and a minus-9 rating over 27 appearances in his first campaign with the Islanders.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Draws back into lineup

Duclair (illness) is available Sunday versus Florida, according to Stefen Rosner of NHL.com. Duclair missed one game due to the illness. Mathew Barzal (undisclosed) isn't available Sunday, so Duclair is projected to take his spot on the top line alongside Anders Lee and Bo Horvat. The 29-year-old Duclair has four goals and eight points in 22 appearances in 2024-25.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Unlikely to play Saturday

Duclair (illness) isn't expected to play against Tampa Bay on Saturday, Andrew Gross of Newsday reports. Duclair missed the morning skate and will sit out at least one game. He has registered four goals, four assists and 29 shots on net through 22 appearances this season. Pierre Engvall will replace Duclair in Saturday's lineup.

  • Islanders' Anthony Duclair: Scores rare goal Friday

Duclair scored a goal in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flyers. Duclair evened things up for the Isles late in the first period with his fourth goal of 2024-25. It was the first time he found the back of the net since a 6-3 win over the Penguins on Dec. 28. Duclair has cracked the scoresheet in two of his last three games. Still, it's hard to trust him in most fantasy formats because he went eight straight games without earning a point before that, and he occupies a bottom-six role.
