Rantanen has a goal and five helpers over his last three games, all of which have been multi-point efforts. Rantanen snapped a two-game pointless drought with this strong showing against the Kings. It was the first time Rantanen had scored since Dec. 5 against the Sharks, but even if he's not scoring at his usual rate, he remains a very productive forward. The star winger has 14 goals and 30 assists in 33 outings this season, and his 44-point haul ranks tied for fourth in the NHL. Only Nathan MacKinnon, Connor McDavid and Macklin Celebrini have more points than Rantanen this season.

Rantanen's point streak is up to seven games, and this was his third three-point effort in that span. For the season, the 29-year-old is up to 13 goals, 29 assists, 21 power-play points, 80 shots on net, 67 PIM and a minus-1 rating through 30 contests. He continues to offer a little grit to go with his elite offense, though he's more reliable for PIM than hits. Still, he's a lock for the vast majority of fantasy lineups on offense alone.

Rantanen had gone two games without a point and also sat out one contest due to a suspension in that span. This was his first multi-point effort since Nov. 13 versus the Canadiens. The 29-year-old winger is up to 30 points (17 on the power play), 63 shots on net, 19 hits, 14 blocked shots, 57 PIM and a minus-6 rating over 24 appearances. He probably won't stay atop the leaderboard for PIM, and he can't afford to deliver any more illegal hits, as the league will be watching closely for any mistake that could label him a repeat offender. Rantanen has served his one-game suspension and will be available to face the Kraken on Wednesday.
Rantanen was handed an automatic one-game ban after receiving game misconducts for boarding in two of his last three outings. Rantanen violated Rule 23.6 by recording two game misconduct penalties for boarding in his last three contests. He racked up 22 PIM in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to Calgary after getting 15 PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Islanders.
