Marner scored a goal on four shots, dished a power-play assist and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Penguins. Marner's eight-game point streak ended in Friday's 3-1 loss to the Capitals. He responded Saturday with his 11th multi-point outing in his last 14 contests, as he continues to score at an elite rate. The 27-year-old is up to 10 goals, 28 helpers, 15 power-play points, 68 shots on net and a plus-4 rating through 27 appearances. His surge has kept him on pace to finish well over 100 points, a mark he's yet to reach in his career. It helps that he's playing for a new contract.

Marner notched two assists in Monday's 4-1 win over Chicago. He had a hand in John Tavares' fluky game-winner in the second period and Matthew Knies' empty-netter late in the third. The performance extended Marner's point streak to seven games, six of which have been multi-point efforts, and he's gotten onto the scoresheet in 15 of the last 16 contests -- a blistering stretch in which he's erupted for eight goals and 26 points.

Marner had two assists in Saturday's 5-3 win over Tampa Bay. He has five goals and six assists during his six-game point streak. Marner remained alongside John Tavares despite Auston Matthews' return to the lineup from a nine-game absence. Marner and Tavares have benefited from playing on the same line, and they should remain together, at least for the short term. Marner has 31 points and 62 shots in 23 games, putting him on pace for his first 100-plus point season.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Extends point streak in loss

Marner produced an unassisted power-play marker Wednesday in a 5-1 loss to the Panthers. Marner continues to be Toronto's best player, at least in terms of offensive production -- he's compiled five goals and four assists during a five-game point streak. Furthermore, Marner has been held off the scoresheet on only one occasion through 11 contests in November, and seven of those games have been multi-point performances. The right-shot winger ranks first on the club in scoring, and he has nine more assists than any of his teammates. The 27-year-old has generated nine goals, 20 assists and a plus-4 rating through 22 contests, and he'll attempt to continue his strong season against Tampa Bay on Saturday.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Scores twice in win

Marner scored two goals on four shots in Sunday's 3-2 win over Utah. Marner tied the game at 1-1 at 5:15 of the second period and added a power-play tally just over four minutes later. It's been a remarkable November for Marner, who has earned two points in seven of his last eight games, with the lone exception being a 3-0 shutout loss to the Senators on Nov. 12. The 27-year-old winger is up to eight goals, 28 points (12 on the power play), 55 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 21 appearances. At the quarter mark, he's on pace to earn the first 100-point campaign of his career.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Two helpers Wednesday

Marner notched two assists, one on the power play, in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Golden Knights. Both points came in the third period as the Leafs salted the game away. Marner has recorded three straight multi-point efforts and has gotten onto the scoresheet in 11 of the last 12 contests, racking up five goals and 19 points over that stretch. Injuries kept the 27-year-old winger from reaching the 90-point plateau in 2023-24 for the fourth time in his career, but Marner is well on his way to getting there this season.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Hot pace continues

Marner scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers on Saturday. It was his 200th career goal. Marner played like the puck was on a string whenever he had it, and he was rewarded with a game-winning goal in OT. He finished with a goal and an assist on the night for the second time in two games and fourth time in his last five appearances. Marner has really turned up the heat with 17 points (five goals, 12 assists) and 30 shots in his past 11 outings. Overall, he has 24 points, including 18 assists, in 19 games to lead the Leafs this season. Marner has played well with linemate Auston Matthews (upper body) on the shelf, so watch for coach Craig Berube to perhaps tweak lines and maybe even separate Matthews and Marner at some point this season. The two men want to play on the same line, but at some point, the coach will have to make a decision that's in the best interest of the team, not the players themselves.

Marner scored a power-play goal and added an even-strength assist in Wednesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Capitals. Marner had a goal and an assist Saturday in a 4-1 win over Montreal. Marner extended his point streak to eight games (three goals, 10 assists). His goal came shorthanded while Sam Montembeault was out of position. Marner has 20 points, including 16 assists, and 44 shots in 16 games this season, a pace that would see him crack the 100-point mark for the first time in his career.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Another multi-point effort

Marner recorded a goal and an assist, both on the power play, in Friday's 3-1 win over the Red Wings. Marner opened the scoring in the first period and later set up the game-winning goal from John Tavares in the latter stages of the second frame. Marner has notched three goals and 15 assists this season, and the right winger has been thriving in a playmaking role -- his 15 helpers are tied for the fifth-best mark in the league and just four shy of the league-leading 19 assists of Nathan MacKinnon. Marner also extended his point streak to seven games, a span in which he's recorded two goals and nine assists.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Six-game streak filled with apples

Marner delivered two power-play assists in a 4-0 victory over the Bruins on Tuesday. Marner's scoring streak now stands at six games and nine points, including eight assists. He has averaged 30 goals over the last three seasons, so his two goals in 2024-25 remain a concern. But Marner's 5.6 shooting percentage remains well below his career 12.8 percent. And what's even more concerning is the gap between this season and his most-recent three-year average (15.7 percent). Marner has been very unlucky when he's shooting, but he's making up for that with elite playmaking production. He has 16 points, including 14 assists, in 14 games this season.

Marner notched a power-play assist and two blocked shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Wild. For the season, the 27-year-old has two goals, 12 helpers, 36 shots on net, four PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 13 appearances in his usual top-six role.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: First goal in nine games

Marner scored a goal Saturday in a 4-2 loss to the Blues. Marner is riding a four-game point streak (one goal, five assists), but Saturday's marker was his first in nine outings and his second of the season. Breathe easy, fantasy managers. He did the same thing in 2023-24 and eventually caught fire. Marner scored five times in his first 20 appearances last year and still ended up with 26 goals and 85 points across 69 regular-season contests.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Snags assist in win

Marner logged an assist and went plus-2 in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Kraken. Marner has continued his excellent playmaking with five helpers over his last three games. All of those assists have come at even strength. The 27-year-old concludes a strong October with one goal, 11 assists, 29 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 11 appearances. Marner has never shot under 10 percent in a full season -- while he's best known for playmaking, he can score too and should make gains in the goal column over time.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Sets up two goals Monday

Marner registered two assists, including one on the power play, in Monday's 5-2 win over the Lightning. Marner has three multi-point outings across Toronto's last four games, and even though he's netted only one goal in that span, he's making his presence felt as a playmaker. The 27-year-old has recorded at least 59 assists in each of the last three seasons and seems on pace to reach that mark once again, though fantasy managers would expect an uptick in the goal column given his role as a top-six forward.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Shines in playmaking role

Marner delivered three assists, including two on the power play, in Wednesday's 6-2 win over the Kings. Marner was unable to score for a second game in a row, but he still found a way to contribute and dazzled as a playmaker with a season-high three assists. He set up an even-strength goal from Auston Matthews in the first period, a power-play tally from William Nylander in the second and John Tavares' PP goal in the third. Marner went scoreless in his first two outings of the season but has racked up five points (one goal, four assists) over his last two appearances, a streak he'll aim to continue when the Maple Leafs host the Rangers on Saturday.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: First two points of season

Marner scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Penguins. Marner got on the scoresheet for the first time in three games this season. He's added nine shots on net and a plus-1 rating while playing in his usual top-six role. Marner is in a contract year, so his slow start is not a welcome sight for fantasy managers that expected him to find another level -- perhaps one that would lead to his first 100-point season. It shouldn't take him long to be the steady playmaker he usually is, especially when he's playing on a line with Auston Matthews.

  • Maple Leafs' Mitch Marner: Focused and highly motivated

Marner set up two power-play goals in Saturday's 3-2 exhibition win over the Red Wings. Marner came into camp focused and highly motivated, resulting in a great showing in the preseason. He is in the last year of his contract and is prepared to negotiate during the season. Maner is in a position of strength in negotiations based on his Selke-caliber play and elite scoring. Marner has 639 points, including 194 goals, in 576 games since coming into the league in 2016-17.
