  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Gets hook against St. Louis

Saros gave up five goals on 21 shots before being replaced by Justus Annunen early in the second period of Monday's 6-5 win over the Blues. Three St. Louis goals in the first four minutes of the second frame spelled the end for Saros, but the move paid off for Nashville as the home squad somehow rallied from a 5-1 deficit. It still continued a tough stretch for Saros in which he's allowed at least three goals in eight straight outings, going 4-2-1 with a 4.11 GAA and an .877 save percentage over that span.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Patrolling crease Monday

Saros will be in goal at home against the Blues on Monday, per Lou Korac of The Hockey News. Saros will be making his 43rd start of the season and is tied with Utah's Karel Vejmelka for the NHL lead. Unfortunately for Saros, that hasn't necessarily translated into wins, as he is 21-17-4 with an .895 save percentage. Considering the 30-year-old backstop is in the first season of an eight-year deal he signed with the club back in July of 2024, it's unlikely he will lose the No. 1 job even with his struggles.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Earns win Saturday

Saros stopped 27 of 30 shots in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Islanders. Saros has been inconsistent from a win-loss perspective, and he's won just two of his last five outings while going 2-2-1 with a 3.90 GAA and an .872 save percentage. Those performances are far from eye-popping, so it's hard to trust him right now, making him a matchup-based option based on his recent struggles.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Expected to start

Saros is slated to guard the road goal against the Islanders on Saturday, per Andrew Gross of Newsday. Saros has lost his last two outings (0-1-1) while stopping 51 of the 58 shots he has faced. He has a 20-17-4 record in 2025-26 with a 3.04 GAA and an .895 save percentage through 41 appearances. The Islanders rank 24th in the league with 2.83 goals per game this season.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Bounced by Bruins in OT

Saros made 25 saves in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to Boston. The Predators never led in the game, rallying from a 2-0 deficit late in the second period to force overtime, and Saros had little chance on David Pastrnak's winner just 15 seconds into the extra frame. The veteran netminder has given up at least three goals in six straight outings, posting a shaky 3.69 GAA and .887 save percentage over that stretch while coming away with a 3-2-1 record.

Saros will protect the road goal versus the Bruins on Tuesday. Saros has won three of his last five games, but he's allowed at least three goals in each of those contests. Saros stopped 26 of 30 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to Utah, with the Mammoth's final goal getting scored into an empty net. The 30-year-old netminder saw an early 1-0 lead evaporate quickly to begin the second period, and the Predators could never get level after falling behind. • Predators' Juuse Saros: Earns win vs. Ottawa

Saros stopped 23 of 26 shots in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Senators. Saros bounced back from his ugly outing against the Sabres on Tuesday, when he allowed four goals on 19 shots. Saros has been reliable of late in terms of wins, as he's gone 3-1-0 over his last four outings, but a deeper look into his numbers suggest he hasn't been a solid option between the pipes in most formats. He's allowed at least three goals in four outings in a row and has posted a 3.31 GAA, as well as an .891 save percentage, in nine appearances since the beginning of January.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Meets challenge Friday

Saros stopped 39 of 42 shots in Friday's 7-3 win over the Avalanche. Saros sent the Avalanche to their first home regulation loss of the campaign. He's won two of his three outings against the league's top team this year, though he certainly had to stay sharp in this game, which was just the fourth time all season he's faced 40-plus shots. Saros is 3-1-0 in those games despite allowing 16 goals. Overall, he's at a 19-15-3 record with a 2.93 GAA and an .898 save percentage through 37 starts. He's one win shy of matching his total from 58 appearances in 2024-25. Justus Annunen is likely to get the nod Saturday in Vegas, but expect Saros between the pipes again versus the surging Sabres on Tuesday in Nashville.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Hangs on for OT win

Saros turned aside 28 of 31 shots on net in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Oilers. Saros posted a solid performance Tuesday that only improved down the stretch, as he allowed no goals following the 13:12 mark in the second period. Tuesday's win came just seven days after he gave up six goals to the Oilers, giving him the motivation to rewrite the script in a 28-save victory. With the OT win, the 30-year-old netminder now has an 18-15-3 record with a 2.93 GAA and an .897 save percentage across 36 appearances this season. Despite co-leading the league in games played with Calgary's Dustin Wolf, Saros continues to find the win column frequently. While Saros has alternated wins and losses over his last 12 games, he has a 12-6-0 record with a .905 save percentage across his past 18 outings and hasn't lost two consecutive games since late November. Saros allowed two goals on 18 shots in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Blackhawks. The third goal was an empty-netter. Saros continues to alternate wins and losses, having done so for eight straight starts. The 30-year-old was unfortunate Saturday, as the Predators weren't able to cash in against a tired Blackhawks team that was on the second half of a back-to-back while battling illness. Saros drops to 17-15-3 with a 2.94 GAA and an .897 save percentage over 35 starts this season. Justus Annunen is likely to get the nod for Sunday's home game against the Capitals.

  • Predators' Juuse Saros: Struggles against Oilers

Saros allowed six goals on 43 shots in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Oilers. Saros was unable to hold off the Oilers' best players -- Connor McDavid had a hat trick and Leon Draisaitl put up a goal and two assists. The 30-year-old Saros has gone 3-8-1 with a 3.49 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 13 career contests against the Oilers, who remain a troublesome test for him. This defeat continued his recent pattern of alternating wins and losses, which has held true over the last six games, though this was one of his poorest performances of the campaign. He's now at a 16-14-3 with a 3.03 GAA and an .894 save percentage across 33 starts.
