  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Pots winner in return

Fabbro scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 3-0 victory over the Devils. Making his return from a six-game absence due to a lower-body injury, Fabbro opened the scoring early in the third period by snapping a quick shot through traffic in front of Jacob Markstrom. Fabbro isn't known for his offensive production. Through 49 games this season, he has produced four goals, eight points, 83 blocked shots, 51 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-12 rating.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Slated to play

Fabbro (lower body) is participating in warmups as expected, indicating he'll play Tuesday versus the Devils, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Fabbro was officially considered a game-time decision, but he was trending toward a return in recent practices. The blueliner will play on the third pairing for this contest. Fabbro had just one goal in the 16 contests before his six-game absence, so he won't be a great source of offense.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Officially game-time call

Fabbro (lower body) will be a game-time decision against the Devils on Tuesday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Fabbro is nearing a return to the lineup after missing the last six games due to his lower-body injury. Presumably, if the blueliner isn't quite ready to play Tuesday, he'll be in the mix to return versus the Blackhawks on Wednesday. With just seven points in 48 games this year, Fabbro may miss the 20-point threshold.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Set to travel with team

Fabbro (lower body) is expected to travel with the team ahead of Tuesday's game against New Jersey, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Fabbro has missed the last six games due to a lower-body injury, but it appears as though he could return to action before the Olympic break. Head coach Rick Bowness said Monday that the Blue Jackets will make a decision on Fabbro's availability Tuesday, so the 27-year-old will presumably be monitored following the team's morning skate.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Still sidelined Friday

Fabbro (lower body) will not be in the lineup versus Chicago on Friday, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports. Fabbro will miss his fifth straight game due to his lower-body injury. With the Jackets heading into a back-to-back, it seems unlikely the 27-year-old blueliner will be available versus the Blues on Saturday either. Prior to his absence, Fabbro was struggling to produce, managing just one point in his last 16 contests.

Fabbro has three goals, seven points, 16 PIM, 48 shots, 42 hits and 81 blocks in 48 appearances in 2025-26. He's missed Columbus' past three games due to the injury. • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Out for at least one week

Fabbro (lower body) might be back in a week or so, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports Monday. Fabbro left Saturday's 4-3 shootout win over Pittsburgh because of the injury. He has three goals, seven points, 16 PIM, 42 hits and 81 blocks in 48 appearances with Columbus this season. Jake Christiansen is likely to draw into the lineup Tuesday versus Ottawa due to Fabbro's injury.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Exits Saturday's game

Fabbro (lower body) won't return to Saturday's game versus the Penguins. Fabbro was hurt in the first period and was unable to get back into action. If he misses time, it'll open the door for Jake Christiansen to pick up minutes on a blue line that's suddenly collecting injuries. The Blue Jackets' next game is Tuesday at home versus the Senators.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Tallies in Tuesday's win

Fabbro scored a goal on three shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Flames. Fabbro went a month between points, posting a minus-7 rating, 20 hits, 17 blocked shots and 10 shots on net during a 13-game drought. The 27-year-old defenseman saw an increased role for the second contest in a row as he helps the Blue Jackets deal with the absences of Denton Mateychuk (upper body) and Damon Severson (illness). Fabbro has just seven points with 46 shots on net, 41 hits, 78 blocks and a minus-16 rating across 46 appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Finds twine Thursday

Fabbro scored a goal on two shots in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Senators. Fabbro ended a 15-game point drought with the tally. He's had a hard time carving out offense from a third-pairing role this season. Fabbro is at five points, 32 shots on net, 59 blocked shots, 20 hits and a minus-9 rating through 31 appearances. Unless he gets back into the top four, he probably won't do enough to help in fantasy.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Collects assist in shootout win

Fabbro logged an assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Penguins. Fabbro started the year on the top pairing, but his slow start has seen him move down the lineup while Denton Mateychuk gets minutes alongside Zach Werenski. The 27-year-old Fabbro has just the one helper with six shots on net, 17 blocked shots, three hits and two PIM across eight appearances. He set a career high with 26 points in 2024-25, but a repeat effort doesn't seem to be in the cards.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Inks four-year extension

Fabbro signed a four-year, $16.5 million contract extension with Columbus on Sunday. Fabbro was a pending unrestricted free agent after completing his one-year, $2.5 million contract, but he will remain with the Blue Jackets. After being claimed off waivers from Nashville on Nov. 10, he compiled nine goals, 26 points, 82 shots on net, 66 hits and 136 blocked shots in 62 regular-season games for Columbus. Fabbro will probably be back on the top pairing alongside Zach Werenski in the 2025-26 campaign.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Pots goal Thursday

Fabbro scored a goal on three shots, blocked five shots and went plus-3 in Thursday's 6-1 win over the Islanders. Fabbro posted six points over 10 contests in April to end the season strong. The 26-year-old defenseman flourished with the Blue Jackets after getting claimed off waivers from the Predators. He ends the campaign with nine goals, 26 points, 89 shots on net, 67 hits, 143 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a plus-20 rating over 68 appearances. Fabbro is an unrestricted free agent this summer, one of nine UFAs on the Columbus roster, but general manager Don Waddell will likely have him near the top of the list for contract talks between now and July 1.

Fabbro scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 3-0 win over the Flyers. Fabbro's goal gave him 25 points on the year, besting his previous high mark of 24 from the 2021-22 campaign. He's generated all of that offense in 61 contests with the Blue Jackets after opening the season scoreless in six games with the Predators. Fabbro has added 86 shots on net, 67 hits, 138 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a plus-17 rating this season with one more game on the schedule to add to his totals.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Playing Tuesday

Fabbro (undisclosed) will be back in the lineup against Nashville on Tuesday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Fabbro has four points in his last two games, giving him 20 points on the year in 52 games with the Jackets. If he can continue to produce, the 26-year-old defenseman could surpass his career-best total (24) from the 2021-22 campaign. With Fabbro back in, Jake Christiansen will be dropped from the lineup.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Not ruled out Tuesday

Fabbro (undisclosed) is still being evaluated and hasn't been ruled out for Tuesday's game versus Nashville, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports. Fabbro has already reached the 20-point mark this year and could still push to surpass his career-best 24-point total set back in 2021-22 when he was with Nashville. If Fabbro does return to action Tuesday, it will likely come at the expense of Jake Christiansen, who figures to be relegated to the press box.

Fabbro recorded one goal, two assists, three shots on goal, two hits and one blocked shot in Friday's 7-6 shootout win over the Canucks. Fabbro found the back of the net for the first time since March 9, when he recorded another multi-point effort in a 7-3 win over the Rangers. He's cracked the scoresheet in just four of his 15 appearances since the league resumed following the 4 Nations break. He has 20 points, 63 shots on net, 118 blocked shots and 60 hits through 52 outings this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Snags helper Monday

Fabbro posted an assist and went plus-3 in Monday's 4-3 shootout win over the Islanders. Fabbro's had it a bit rough since the 4 Nations Face-Off break. He has four points and a plus-4 rating over 14 appearances in that span. The 26-year-old remains in a top-pairing role, but the Blue Jackets' offense has gotten inconsistent in crunch time as they try to stay in the playoff race. Fabbro is up to 17 points, 67 shots on net, 124 blocked shots, 59 hits, 34 PIM and a plus-15 rating over 57 appearances between Columbus and Nashville this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Collects two points Sunday

Fabbro recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Rangers. He finished with two shots on goal, five blocked shots and a plus-2 rating. Fabbro found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 25, when he noticed a goal in a 3-2 overtime win over the Kings. This was also his first multi-point effort of the campaign. Even though the 26-year-old isn't known for being a reliable fantasy presence, he certainly turned heads with his play in Sunday's scoring barrage. One area in which Fabbro contributes consistently is the physical side of the game, as he's notched 50 hits and 115 blocked shots in his 50 contests between Columbus and Nashville so far this season.
