Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Secures shootout win in Vegas debut
Rotowire
Hart stopped 27 of 30 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Blackhawks.
Hart didn't get to work with a lead for long -- Vegas was ahead for just 56 seconds in the first period. The 27-year-old was able to settle in fairly well, and he turned three of four shootout attempts to come away with the win in his first game in nearly two years. Until Adin Hill (lower body) is healthy, Hart and Akira Schmid figure to split the goaltending duties. The Golden Knights begin a road trip Friday in New Jersey.

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Exits ice first Tuesday
Rotowire
Hart was the first goalie to leave the ice Tuesday, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports, indicating he'll tend the twine at home versus Chicago.
Hart will suit up in an NHL game for the first time in nearly two years, having last played for the Flyers back in January of 2024. While Akira Schmid should continue to see the bulk of the workload for the Golden Knights, some good performances could see Hart force his way into a split share.

Rotowire
Hart (suspension) was recalled from his conditioning loan with AHL Henderson on Saturday.
Hart's suspension ends Monday, making him eligible to be in the lineup for Tuesday's home game against Chicago. However, it's unclear when he will make his Vegas debut. During his stint in the minors, he went 1-2-0 with a 3.07 GAA and an .839 save percentage in three appearances.

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Surrenders four goals in AHL loss
Rotowire
Hart (suspension) stopped 12 of 16 shots in AHL Henderson's 4-3 loss to Ontario on Friday.
Hart has allowed nine goals on 56 shots over three appearances during his conditioning loan with Henderson. He's gone 1-2-0, and it's safe to say he's still rusty after this brief return to game action. Friday's appearance is likely to be his last start during the conditioning loan, but given his performance, it's fair to question if Vegas will want to thrust him into the backup role at the NHL level right away. If the Golden Knights wanted to get him more playing time in the AHL, he would require waivers to continue his stay in Henderson.

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Sent to AHL for conditioning
Rotowire
Hart (suspension) was assigned to AHL Henderson on Saturday for a conditioning loan.
Hart isn't eligible to play for Vegas until December, but he can begin to get himself back into game shape in the minors. Adin Hill (lower body) moved to injured reserve ahead of Saturday's road matchup against St. Louis. Assuming they are both healthy, Hart and Hill will probably compete for starts with the Golden Knights. Vegas currently has Akira Schmid and Carl Lindbom as the top two netminders on the roster.

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Inks two-year deal
Rotowire
Hart (suspension) signed a two-year, $4 million contract with the Golden Knights on Friday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Hart joined the Golden Knights on a professional tryout agreement last week and has been practicing at the team's facility since then. He can start appearing in games with AHL Henderson beginning Nov. 15, but he won't be able to suit up for Vegas until Dec. 1 due to disciplinary measures from the league. Adin Hill (lower body) is considered week-to-week after exiting Monday's win over the Hurricanes, and Akira Schmid will likely serve as the Golden Knights' No. 1 option in his absence, while Carl Lindbom was recalled from the AHL.

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Signs with Vegas
Rotowire
Hart signed a contract with the Golden Knights on Thursday.
Hart was eligible to sign a contract with an NHL club as early as Wednesday as part of an agreement with the league after he was acquitted of sexual assault charges in the Hockey Canada trial. Hart won't be eligible to suit up for the Golden Knights until Dec. 1 due to disciplinary measures from the league. He's with the organization on a tryout and is expected to begin working with AHL Henderson, and he'll be eligible to begin practicing with the Golden Knights on Nov. 15. Adin Hill sustained a lower-body injury in the first period of Tuesday's game against the Flames, and Vegas has Akira Schmid as a backup and Carl Lindbom in the AHL if Hill misses time. Once Hart is able to make his team debut, he'll likely have a chance to push for playing time, assuming Hill is healthy.

Flyers' Carter Hart: Gets hook against Avs
Rotowire
Hart allowed five goals on 15 shots before being replaced by Samuel Ersson to begin the third period of Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Avalanche.
The ugly numbers owed a lot more to a lackluster defensive effort on the part of the Flyers than anything Hart did, but it's still the third time in his last eight starts he's coughed up at least five goals. The 25-year-old has a 3.56 GAA and .883 save percentage over that stretch, while Ersson sports a 1.63 GAA and .936 save percentage in seven appearances since Christmas. It may not be long before Hart loses his grip on even a timeshare in the Philly crease.

Flyers' Carter Hart: Starting against St. Louis
Rotowire
Hart will guard the road goal versus the Blues on Monday.
Hart was a little shaky in his last start Friday against the Wild, surrendering three goals on just 29 shots, but he still came away with a win thanks to strong goal support from his teammates. He'll try to pick up his 12th win of the season in a road matchup with a St. Louis squad that's 13-7-1 at home this year.

Flyers' Carter Hart: Earns overtime win
Rotowire
Hart stopped 26 of 29 shots in Friday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.
Hart has won two of his last four games, though he's allowed 13 goals in that span. The Flyers didn't have a lead Friday until Joel Farabee's game-winner with 1:24 left in the extra session. Hart is up to 11-8-3 with a 2.70 GAA and a .911 save percentage through 24 contests. With Samuel Ersson proving himself a steady backup, Hart's grip on the No. 1 job shouldn't be considered all that firm. Expect Ersson to get the nod Saturday against the Jets.

Flyers' Carter Hart: Gets back in win column
Rotowire
Hart stopped 22 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Flames.
Both Calgary goals came in the second period, as Hart shut down the visitors in the other two frames. It's his first win since Dec. 9, although an illness cost the netminder five games during that time. Since returning to the Philly crease, Hart has looked shaky with a 3.40 GAA and .888 save percentage over five outings. Saturday's performance was a step in the right direction, but expect him to remain in a timeshare with Samuel Ersson until he shows more consistency.

Flyers' Carter Hart: Can't contain Edmonton
Rotowire
Hart stopped 31 of 36 shots in a 5-2 loss to Edmonton on Tuesday.
Hart has dropped to 0-1-2 with a 3.81 GAA and an .882 save percentage over his last four appearances. Despite that rough patch, the 25-year-old netminder has done alright overall with a 9-7-3 record, 2.66 GAA and .912 save percentage in 21 contests this season. The Flyers on Thursday will host the Blue Jackets, who are tied for 16th offensively with 3.08 goals per game, so that would be a more favorable matchup than Edmonton's high-powered forward group for Hart if he draws the assignment.
