McLeod recorded an assist in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Avalanche.

McLeod has two goals and an assist over four games in November. At least on offense, he's holding his own in a top-six role while filling in for Nico Hischier (upper body) and Jack Hughes (shoulder). McLeod began the year in a bottom-six spot, but the 25-year-old may be earning himself more responsibility with solid play. He's at five points, 20 shots on net, 17 hits and a plus-1 rating through 12 outings.

  • Devils' Michael McLeod: Provides goal Thursday

McLeod found the back of the net in a 5-3 win over Minnesota on Thursday.

McLeod is up to two goals and three points in nine outings this year. With those two markers, he's already halfway to his 2022-23 goal total, though he's still a ways away from the 26 points in 80 contests he recorded during that campaign. The 25-year-old is on New Jersey's second line while Nico Hischier's (upper body) unavailable, so McLeod does have some short-term fantasy value.

  • Devils' Michael McLeod: Lights lamp for first time

McLeod scored his first goal of the season in Monday's 4-3 loss against the Panthers.

McLeod was blanked in his first two games with just one shot on goal, but the Mississauga, Ont. native played well Monday, particularly in the third period. He managed just four goals and 26 points across 80 games last season, so don't expect many more lamp-lighters in 2023-24.

McLeod put pen to paper on a one-year, $1.4 million deal with New Jersey on Saturday.

Thus, McLeod is unlikely to offer more than mid-range fantasy value.
