Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Tallies pair of points in return
Jarvis tallied a power-play goal, dished out a power-play assist, fired six shots on net and recorded four hits in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Stars.
In his return from a rib injury that has kept him sidelined since Dec. 20, Jarvis showcased the fire that likely was lit under him after not being selected for Team Canada's roster ahead of the 2026 Winter Olympic Games. Overall, the 23-year-old rising star is up to 20 goals, 11 assists, 116 shots on net and 47 hits through 35 games this season. With there being a decent chance that Jarvis can join Team Canada as a potential injury replacement, he will likely put forth everything he has at the NHL level in hopes of impressing the coaching staff. Regardless of his chase to be an Olympian, he remains on a strong enough pace to reach the 60-plus point mark for the third consecutive season despite missing over two weeks.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Good to go Tuesday
Jarvis (ribs) will suit up for Tuesday's home contest against the Stars, according to Ryan Henkel of The Hockey News.
Jarvis landed on injured reserve shortly after getting injured and missed the last eight games as a result. The right-shot winger worked in a third-line capacity with Jordan Staal and Jordan Martinook at Tuesday's morning skate. Jarvis should eventually slide back into a top-six role, but for now, he'll skate on more of a defensive line while receiving power-play time.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Set to miss time
Jarvis sustained an apparent upper-body injury in Friday's game versus the Panthers that head coach Rod Brind'Amour deemed "not good," and Jarvis is expected to miss some time, Chip Alexander of The Raleigh News & Observer reports.
Jarvis crashed into the post during overtime and appeared to be favoring his arm as he left the game. He had two assists in the contest and is now at 29 points through 34 appearances. This is a big loss for the Hurricanes, who don't have an extra forward on the roster. Fantasy managers will need to pivot to other options during Jarvis' absence.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Tallies in Wednesday's win
Jarvis scored a goal on four shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Predators.
Jarvis has been limited to three goals over his last five games, though that's still decent production. The 23-year-old forward is up to 19 goals, 27 points, 106 shots on net, 42 hits and a plus-1 rating across 33 appearances. With Sebastian Aho getting a three-point effort Wednesday, the engine of the Hurricanes' offense should be fired up again, and Jarvis should be in a good position as Aho's linemate to get back to dominant performances.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Exits after high stick to face
Jarvis (upper body) won't return to Friday's game versus the Canucks.
The Hurricanes officially labeled it as an upper-body injury, but it was a scary play in which Jarvis took a high stick to the face in the first period that caused his exit. It's unclear if he'll be available for Saturday's game against the Oilers. Should Jarvis miss time, Mark Jankowski would likely enter the lineup.
