The 21-year-old has five assists, 14 shots on net, 24 hits and a plus-2 rating over 15 appearances, but it looks like he could benefit from a little more development time in the AHL if he can't find a groove on offense soon.

Bolduc was assigned to Springfield on Monday, but the move now appears to have been procedural. The 21-year-old is eligible to play in Tuesday's contest against Seattle, but it remains to be seen if he will draw into the lineup. Bolduc is more likely to begin the season as St. Louis' 13th forward. The left-shot center garnered nine points (five goals) in 25 regular-season games with the Blues in 2023-24.
