The veteran blueliner potted his 13th goal of the season late in the first period, in between helpers on tallies by Noah Laba and Vincent Trocheck. The three-point effort was a season high for Gavrikov, and over nine games since the Olympic break, he's delivered four goals and nine points.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Extends streak with goal
Gavrikov scored a goal and added two PIM in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Devils.
Gavrikov has scored in three straight games and has a point in each of his last four contests. The 30-year-old defenseman has doubled his previous career high in goals with 12 this season. Gavrikov's up to 25 points, 93 shots on net, 87 blocked shots, 34 PIM and a minus-15 rating over 62 appearances. He's shooting 12.9 percent, so the offense could drop at any time, but Gavrikov remains a decent depth option for fantasy blue lines.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Three-game, three-point streak
Gavrikov scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 6-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
Gavrikov is on a three-game, three-point scoring streak that includes two goals. The goal was his 11th (24 points; 61 games). Gavrikov has never scored more than six goals in any of his eight seasons, so this is a true lightning in a bottle year for the Russian defender.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Sparks comeback effort
Gavrikov scored a goal on two shots in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
Gavrikov tallied early in the third period, igniting a four-goal rally for the Rangers. This was his 10th goal of the season, making this the first year he's reached double digits. The 30-year-old blueliner is at 23 points, 90 shots on net, 87 blocked shots, 38 hits, 32 PIM and a minus-16 rating over 60 appearances. While he has been good, Adam Fox is healthy again, so Gavrikov is poised to take on more defensive assignments down the stretch.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Two points in Saturday's loss
Gavrikov produced an even-strength goal and a shorthanded assist in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Penguins.
Both points came in the third period as the Rangers tried to rally from a 5-1 deficit. Gavrikov is taking advantage of the latest absence for Adam Fox (lower body), and over the last seven games, the 30-year-old Russian has delivered two goals and six points, including one goal and two assists on the power play.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Scores PP goal Monday
Gavrikov scored a power-play goal in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.
Gavrikov found the back of the net for the first time since Dec. 29, when he also scored a power-play goal in a 3-2 loss to the Hurricanes. The 30-year-old blueliner has 16 points (eight goals, eight assists) in 50 contests, and he's also racked up 76 blocked shots and 31 hits. Even though Gavrikov plays in a top defensive pairing, he isn't carrying a lot of fantasy appeal in most formats, though he might be worth a look in deep leagues that value physicality stats.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Earns first career power-play point
Gavrikov scored a power-play goal on three shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Hurricanes.
This was Gavrikov's first power-play point in his career. He has not typically been a big factor with the man advantage, but he's averaging 1:38 per game on the power play over his last 10 contests. That usage will dry up once Adam Fox (upper body) is ready to return, but Gavrikov's strong play this year, especially on offense, has afforded him more opportunities. He's at a career-best seven goals with eight helpers, 56 shots on net, 63 blocked shots, 20 hits, 20 PIM and a plus-2 rating over 41 appearances.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Matches career high in goals
Gavrikov scored a goal and went plus-3 in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Senators.
Gavrikov tallied his sixth goal of the year, a career-best number he's reached in three of the last four regular seasons and missed by just one in 2024-25. He's surged lately with four goals and three helpers over his last seven outings. Gavrikov won't keep up this kind of offense -- he's shooting a career-high 15.8 percent so far -- but he's locked in as a top-four blueliner for the Rangers. He's up to 13 points, 38 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a plus-10 rating through 29 appearances.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Plays hero in overtime
Gavrikov scored the game-winning goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars.
Gavrikov tallied 1:09 into the extra session to complete the Rangers' comeback win. The 30-year-old defenseman is poised for heavy usage in the long-term absence of Adam Fox (upper body), who is likely to miss most or all of December at a minimum. Gavrikov has six points over his last six games and a total of five goals, 12 points, 37 shots on net, 45 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating in 28 appearances this season. He's one goal away from matching his career high, and he could also push for a new high mark in points -- he'll be aiming to top the 33 he had in 2021-22 with the Blue Jackets.

Gavrikov scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Friday's 6-2 win over the Bruins.

He's up to four goals, 11 points, 36 shots on net, 44 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 26 appearances this season. He's two goals away from matching his career high of six, which he attained in both 2022-23 and 2023-24.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Plates two helpers
Gavrikov distributed two assists, placed two shots on goal and blocked two attempts in Monday's 3-1 win over the Blues.
Gavrikov tallied the primary helper on the Rangers' second and third goals of the night, including Adam Edstrom's game-winner midway through the final period. With the pair of apples, Gavrikov has seven assists, 10 points, 34 shots on goal and 38 blocks through 24 games this season. The 30-year-old defenseman has been a strong secondary source of offense from the Rangers' blueline, which has helped take a large burden off Adam Fox's shoulders. Gavrikov has registered two points in each of his past two games and is averaging the second-largest amount of time on ice in his seven-year career. He's currently on pace to surpass his career high of 33 points with Columbus from the 2021-22 regular season. Between his offensive contributions and category coverage with blocks, he has solid fantasy value in deep leagues.

Gavrikov scored a goal, dished an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Mammoth.

Gavrikov produced a goal and an assist in Monday's 6-3 win over the Predators.
Both points came in the first period, helping the Rangers grab a 2-1 lead and boosting them toward their first win of the season at Madison Square Garden. Gavrikov hasn't made the impact in his own end that New York may have been expecting when he was signed as a free agent this offseason, and through his first 17 games with the club, he's delivered two goals, five points, 26 shots on net, 25 blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-5 rating.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Finds twine Saturday
Gavrikov scored a goal, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Kraken.
Gavrikov opened the scoring midway through the first period. The 29-year-old defenseman's tally was his first goal this season, to go with two assists across 13 contests. He's added 18 shots on net, 21 blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-5 rating. Gavrikov remains a defensive presence on the top pairing, so while his ice time will be high, his point production isn't likely to follow on a consistent basis.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Gets on scoresheet with helper
Gavrikov logged an assist and two PIM in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Canadiens.
The helper came on an Artemi Panarin tally in the third period, which stood as the game-winner. Gavrikov hasn't offered much offense, though the same could be said for many of the Rangers amid a slow start to the season. In addition to his single point, he has eight shots on net, 10 blocked shots, two hits, six PIM and a plus-3 rating while skating alongside Adam Fox on the first pairing.

Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Signs long-term contract
Gavrikov penned a seven-year, $49 million deal with the Rangers on Tuesday, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.
Gavrikov managed 30 points in 82 regular-season appearances for the Kings last season, all of which came at even strength. Given his lack of power-play time, the 29-year-old blueliner's deal seems a little steep, but Gavrikov gives the Rangers a top-end shutdown defender to potentially pair with Adam Fox.
