Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Keeps rolling in 12th win
Shesterkin turned aside 25 shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Senators.
The Rangers grabbed a 2-0 lead before the 10-minute mark in the first period, and Shesterkin made sure the home side never got level, with the only two pucks to get past him on the night coming on Ottawa power plays. The 29-year-old netminder has allowed three goals or fewer in six straight starts, going 5-1-0 over that stretch with a 2.18 GAA and .922 save percentage and he slips back into his Vezina form.

Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Secures win in OT
Shesterkin turned aside 24 shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Stars.
The 29-year-old netminder is in a bit of a groove for the Rangers despite the lack of consistent offensive support he's been receiving. Shesterkin has won four of his last five starts. He has allowed more than three goals only once in his past 10, going 7-3-0 during that stretch with a 2.50 GAA and a .914 save percentage.

Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Plastered with pucks in loss
Shesterkin made 31 saves in a 4-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday.
He allowed three goals. Shesterkin was the star of the game for the Rangers, who mustered just 13 shots on the Lightning net in 60 minutes of action. The loss snapped his three-game winning streak. Shesterkin is 10-9-2 with a 2.48 GAA and a .911 save percentage; those ratios put him 12th overall in both categories. He's likely the only reason the Rangers are within one point of a wild-card spot.

Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Bests Bruins
Shesterkin stopped 19 of 21 shots in a 6-2 victory over Boston on Friday.
Shesterkin carried a shutout into the third period, but it was broken up by Casey Mittelstadt at 4:07 of the final frame. Morgan Geekie then beat Shesterkin less than two minutes later, but the Rangers still held a 4-2 lead, and the New York goaltender stopped the Bruins' comeback bid there. Shesterkin has now allowed no more than two goals in any of his past three starts, and he's won all three of those games. The 29-year-old is an elite goaltender who sometimes doesn't get enough support from his teammates -- his 10-8-2 record in 2025-26 undersells just how good he's been. He'll take some unearned losses this campaign -- as well as have some off nights -- but it still wouldn't be surprising to see him hit the 30-win mark as long as the Rangers are at least mediocre the rest of the way. It helps that he tends to start in about three of every four games.

Shesterkin made 36 saves in Wednesday's 4-2 win over Carolina.
The 29-year-old was the busier of the two netminders on the night, as the Rangers got outshot 38-18, but Shesterkin was more than up to the challenge. He's allowed more than three goals only twice in 10 November starts, going 6-4-0 with a 2.60 GAA and a .907 save percentage. He could handle an even bigger workload than usual in the short term while Jonathan Quick (lower body) is unavailable.

With the win, the 29-year-old netminder has an 8-8-1 record with a 2.50 GAA and a .909 save percentage through 18 appearances this season. Shesterkin is on pace for another 25-win campaign, which would be his fifth straight regular season hitting that mark. He possesses both the volume and success needed for a strong goaltender in fantasy, making him a must-roster player regardless of the Rangers' inconsistencies as a team. His next opportunity to defend the crease is Wednesday against the Metropolitan Division-leading Hurricanes.
