Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Exits ice first
Sorokin was the first goalie to leave the ice Wednesday, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports, indicating he'll be between the pipes on the road versus Seattle.
Sorokin has appeared in five of the Isles' last seven contests, going 4-1-0 with a 2.22 GAA and one shutout. With 16 wins in his 29 outings this year, the 30-year-old netminder should be a lock to reach the 20-win mark and could push for 30 for the third time in the last four years.

Those are his best marks in three years, and he has helped guide the Islanders to second in the Metropolitan Division. Sorokin is likely to get the nod again Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Islanders' Ilya Sorokin: Slated to start Saturday
Sorokin is expected to patrol the road crease against Minnesota on Saturday, Luca Dallasta of the Islanders' official site reports.
Sorokin returned this week after a seven-game absence with a lower-body injury and was spectacular, stopping all 44 shots in a 9-0 victory over New Jersey. Sorokin is 13-10-2 with a 2.44 GAA and a .915 save percentage across 25 starts this season. Sorokin is even with Jesper Wallstedt for the NHL lead with four shutouts.
