  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Reaches 30-goal plateau

Geekie scored his 30th goal of the season in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Predators. The 27-year-old gave the Bruins a 2-0 lead early in the second period, snapping a shot past Juuse Saros from the faceoff circle. Geekie has reached the 30-goal plateau in back-to-back seasons, and he remains on pace to blow past the career-high 33 he scored in 2024-25.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Lights lamp in overtime loss

Geekie scored a goal on four shots, added two hits and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Rangers. Geekie has gotten back into form with four goals and two assists during a four-game point streak. He toiled on the third line for a large part of January, but he returned to a line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak for Monday's contest. Overall, Geekie has 29 goals, 48 points, 122 shots on net, 84 hits and a minus-3 rating through 52 appearances. He may fade further from the point-per-game threat, but he's just five goals away from resetting his career high again.

Overall, the 27-year-old Geekie is up to 28 goals, 47 points, 118 shots on net and 82 hits through 51 games this season. Since a one-game absence for the birth of his son, he has six points and two multi-point efforts in six games. Dating back to Jan. 1, 2025, he is tied for third across the NHL with 53 goals.

Geekie (personal) will be in the lineup for Tuesday's home divisional matchup versus Detroit, according to Jim McBride of The Boston Globe. Geekie missed his first game of the season Sunday against the Penguins due to the birth of his child, but he won't miss any further game action. The right-shot forward skated on the third line with Alex Steeves and Fraser Minten during Tuesday's morning skate. Geekie will resume his role with the man advantage as well, where he's garnered 12 of his 41 points (25 goals, 16 helpers) across 45 appearances this season.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Out Sunday

Geekie (personal) will miss Sunday's game against the Penguins, Bruins insider Joe McDonald reports. Geekie left Saturday's game against the Rangers early to attend to a family matter, and it appears he won't make it back in time to be in the lineup Sunday against the Penguins. The 27-year-old has been one of the league's best scorers this season, potting 25 goals in 45 games. Sunday will be Geekie's first missed game of the season. His next chance to return will be Tuesday against the Red Wings.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Didn't complete Saturday's game

Geekie left Saturday's 10-2 win over the Rangers before its conclusion to attend to a family matter. Geekie had one shot in 6:14 of ice time before exiting the game. He has 25 goals and 41 points in 44 appearances in 2025-26. Elias Lindholm (lower body) also left Saturday's clash before its conclusion, so Jeffrey Viel and Michael Eyssimont might draw into the lineup Sunday versus Pittsburgh.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Two more points in win

Geekie scored a power-play goal on four shots, added an assist and logged two hits in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Canucks. Geekie logged his third multi-point effort over the last five games, and he's earned three of his seven points in that span on the power play. The 27-year-old continues to defy expectations, giving the Bruins another reliable scorer to take some pressure off David Pastrnak. Geekie is up to 25 goals, 39 points (12 on the power play), 90 shots on net, 60 hits and a minus-2 rating over 36 appearances. It's tough to see him staying above a point-per-game pace in the second half of the season, but he'll likely surpass his 33-goal, 57-point campaign from last year even if he slumps a little.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Lights lamp twice against Utah

Geekie scored two goals, one on the power play and the other the game-winner, in Tuesday's 4-1 victory over the Mammoth. The 27-year-old continued his breakout campaign, getting the Bruins on the board late in the first period after a slick cross-ice pass from David Pastrnak before banging home a rebound just 23 seconds into the second. Geekie has four two-goal performances in the last 13 games, a stretch in which he's racked up 12 of his 24 goals on the season -- putting him second in the Rocket Richard Trophy race behind Nathan MacKinnon (28).

Geekie notched two assists, two PIM and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 6-3 win over the Jets. Geekie has started to mix a little playmaking into his repertoire -- this was his third multi-assist effort over five outings in December. He's earned five goals and six assists across his last seven contests. For the season, the 27-year-old has been remarkable in a top-six role, racking up 22 goals, 12 helpers, 10 power-play points, 81 shots on net, 54 hits and an even plus-minus rating through 32 appearances. He's well on his way to setting a career high in points after putting up 57 in 77 games in 2024-25.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores vs. New Jersey

Geekie scored a goal in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Devils. Geekie has been on a tear of late and has found the back of the net in four of his last five outings. Over that five-game stretch, the 27-year-old center has tallied nine points (five goals, four assists), 14 shots on goal and eight hits while sporting an impressive but unsustainable 35.7 shooting percentage.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Two helpers in Detroit

Geekie picked up two assists in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Red Wings. The 27-year-old Geekie continues to carry the load as the Bruins' top offensive threat while David Pastrnak (undisclosed) is on the shelf. Geekie has four multi-point performances in the last seven games, but remarkably, Tuesday's helpers were his first in that stretch -- he has eight goals and 10 points during his surge. On the season, Geekie has 28 points in 28 contests and has already reached 20 goals. He is second in the Rocket Richard Trophy race behind Nathan MacKinnon's 22.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Tied for NHL lead in goals

Geekie scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Red Wings. Geekie found the back of the net in the second and third periods, and he remains one of the most consistent forwards in the NHL from a goal-scoring perspective. The 27-year-old has eight goals over his last six games, and he's tied with Nathan MacKinnon for the league lead with 20 goals this season.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Contributes another goal

Geekie netted a goal in a 6-2 loss to the Rangers on Friday. Geekie has an incredible 18 goals in 26 appearances this season, including six markers over his past five outings. The 27-year-old took a huge step forward with 33 goals during the 2024-25 regular season, shattering his previous career high of 17, but that success came with a 22.0 shooting percentage, which was in stark contrast to his 10.7 shooting percentage over 254 regular-season outings from 2020-21 through 2023-24. That was a potential warning sign that he might regress, but that clearly hasn't been the case. He's now tied with Nathan MacKinnon for the NHL goal-scoring lead, though Geekie doesn't come close to the Avalanche superstar in overall points -- Geekie has just six assists this year.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Nets both goals in win

Geekie scored a pair of goals on three shots and added three hits in Friday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings. Geekie opened the scoring at 8:01 of the third period and closed it out with the game-winner 2:27 into overtime. He's back in a tie for first in the league in goals with 16, even with Colorado superstar Nathan MacKinnon. This was Geekie's second multi-goal game in a row. The 27-year-old has 22 points, 59 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-7 rating over 23 appearances. At this point, he's too good to be lingering on the waiver wire, but fantasy managers should still be ready to pivot if his percentage-driven success falls off.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores 12th goal of season

Geekie scored an even-strength goal and added a power-play assist in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Senators. Geekie extended his point streak to five games with this two-point effort, and the 27-year-old center continues to be one of the most consistent forwards on the Boston roster. He's recorded at least one point in 11 of his last 12 appearances, tallying 10 goals and four assists, as well as 39 shots and 15 hits, over that span. Geekie is among the NHL leaders in goals, ranking tied for second in the league with his 12 and trailing only Nathan MacKinnon, who has 14 and a league-leading 33 points.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Among leaders in goals

Geekie had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Maple Leafs. Geekie scored his 11th goal of the season early in the first period when he fanned on his first shot, recovered the puck and wired it past Anthony Stolarz's outstretched left leg. He is tied for the second-most goals in the league.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Pots 10th goal of season

Geekie scored a goal on a team-high four shots in Thursday's 3-2 overtime win over the Senators. After giving the red light a break for a couple contests, Geekie found the back of the net Thursday for the 10th time in 16 games, putting him one back of league leaders Sidney Crosby and Cutter Gauthier in the early stages of the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy. Geekie set a career high with 33 goals in 77 games in 2024-25, production that came on 22.0 percent shooting, but he's somehow been even more efficient this season with a 27.8 percent mark. The 27-year-old's offense tends to come from in close -- Thursday's tally came when he tapped in a puck that got through Linus Ullmark but bounced off the post into the crease -- so while regression is almost certainly coming for his shooting percentage, it may not bite as hard as expected.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Keeps rolling Tuesday

Geekie scored a power-play goal on three shots in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Islanders. Geekie is on an incredible tear with six goals over his last five games, a span in which he has posted 18 shots on net. The 27-year-old is thriving on the top line with Elias Lindholm and David Pastrnak. Through 12 outings, Geekie has eight tallies, two assists, 25 shots on goal and 22 hits, and just two of his 10 points have come on the power play despite his place on the top unit. He won't be this efficient as a scorer forever, but Geekie still has enough upside through a cushy role on a scoring line to help in fantasy.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scoring streak reaches four games

Geekie scored a goal, took three shots and delivered two hits in Monday's 7-2 loss to the Senators. Geekie scored the first goal of the game at 3:06 of the first period with a wrister, but the Senators would take control of the game right after that. This was Geekie's seventh goal of the campaign, and he's notched five of them over an ongoing four-game scoring run. During that four-game stretch, Geekie has also racked up 15 shots on goal, seven hits and one blocked shot.

  • Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores again Saturday

Geekie scored a goal on six shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Avalanche. Geekie's tally at 19:55 of the second period was ultimately enough to send the Avalanche to their first regulation loss this season. The 27-year-old Geekie has been exceptional this week with four goals over his last three games. On the year, he's already at six goals, two assists, 19 shots on net, 20 hits and a minus-2 rating through 10 appearances. He's shooting 31.6 percent, which is unsustainable, but he shot 22.0 percent in a 33-goal effort over 77 regular-season outings last year. Regression will come, but Geekie will handle a top-line role until the slump hits.
