  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Pots lone goal in loss

Gauthier scored a goal on four shots in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Senators. Gauthier snapped a five-game goal drought with a third-period tally to break up Linus Ullmark's shutout bid. Offense has been a challenge for the Ducks lately -- this was the fourth time in the last six games they've been limited to a single goal, a span in which Gauthier has two points. The rookie winger is at four goals, eight assists, 54 shots on net, 24 hits and a minus-3 rating through 27 appearances in a middle-six role.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Two points in Wednesday's win

Gauthier scored a power-play goal on three shots, dished an assist and added two hits in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Kraken. Gauthier set up a Brett Leason goal in the first period and then tacked on his power-play tally late in the second. He had gone three games without a point following his two-point effort in Dallas on Nov. 18. Gauthier is up to three goals, seven helpers, 47 shots on net, 16 hits and a minus-2 rating over 21 outings this season, with four of his points coming on the power play.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Scores, assists vs. Dallas

Gauthier recorded a power-play goal and an even-strength assist in Monday's 4-2 win over Dallas. Gauthier found the back of the net in the power play to give the Ducks a 3-0 lead midway through the second period, and he also assisted in the fourth goal, courtesy of Jackson LaCombe, with 5:28 left in the final frame. This was Gauthier's second multi-point game of the season, and he seems to be gaining steam of late with points in three of his last four appearances.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Lights lamp Friday

Gauthier scored a goal in Friday's 6-4 win over the Red Wings. Gauthier put the Ducks ahead 4-3 in the third period as part of a four-goal frame for the team. It was the winger's first NHL tally, which could end up opening the floodgates. The 20-year-old has struggled to the point of getting demoted to the fourth line at even strength, though he's still in the power-play mix. Overall, Gauthier has a goal, five assists, 36 shots on net, 11 hits, nine blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 16 appearances.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Registers helper in debut

Gauthier notched an assist and three shots on goal in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Golden Knights. Gauthier took a pass from Leo Carlsson and set up Jackson LaCombe on the game-winning tally. It was a glimpse into the future for the Ducks, with Gauthier joining a growing talent pool after a surprise midseason trade from the Flyers. Gauthier may still need a taste of the AHL in 2024-25, but he'll likely be given every opportunity to win an NHL job in training camp.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Inks ELC

Gauthier signed a three-year, entry-level deal with Anaheim on Sunday. Gauthier was selected fifth overall by the Flyers in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft and his rights were flipped to Anaheim in the Jamie Drysdale trade earlier this season. In two seasons at Boston College, Gauthier dominated with 54 goals and 102 points through 73 games. The deal is expected to begin immediately and he could make his NHL debut in the Ducks' season finale against Vegas on Thursday.

  • Ducks' Cutter Gauthier: Flipped to Ducks

Gauthier was traded from Philadelphia to the Ducks in exchange for Jamie Drysdale and a 2025 second-round draft pick Monday. Gauthier is one of the top prospects in the league after being selected fifth overall in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft by the Flyers. The 19-year-old has 29 goals and 60 points in 49 career games with Boston College. He's also added 22 points across 14 total games in his last two World Juniors appearances. Gauthier reportedly did not want to play for the Flyers, which likely put the pressure on Philadelphia to make a move, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
