Predators' David Edstrom: Sent to Nashville
Edstrom was acquired along with Magnus Chrona and a 2025 conditional first-round pick by Nashville from San Jose in exchange for Yaroslav Askarov, Nolan Burke and a 2025 third-round selection Friday.
It was the second time in over five months that Edstrom has been dealt. He was selected in the first-round -- 32nd overall -- in 2023 by the Golden Knights and spent the 2023-24 campaign with Frolunda HC of the SHL, where he had seven goals and 19 points in 44 regular-season games. Edstrom is a two-way center who likely will become a solid No. 3 center in the NHL.

Sharks' David Edstrom: Involved in major trade
Edstrom was acquired along with a 2025 first-round pick by San Jose from Vegas in exchange for Tomas Hertl and third-round selections in 2025 and 2027 on Friday.
Edstrom has six goals and 17 points in 42 contests this season with Frolunda HC of the Swedish League. He was selected by Vegas with the No. 32 overall pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.
