  • Ducks' Calle Clang: Records third shutout in AHL win

Clang logged a 27-save shutout in AHL San Diego's 3-0 win over Tucson on Wednesday. Clang has earned all three of his AHL shutouts this season. He's matched his career high with 32 appearances, posting a 16-8-6 record with a 2.75 GAA and an .896 save percentage. The Swedish netminder has done a fine job, but it would take an injury to Lukas Dostal or Ville Husso for Clang to get an NHL call-up.

  • Ducks' Calle Clang: Earns second shutout of AHL season

Clang posted a 19-save shutout in AHL San Diego's 1-0 win over Abbotsford on Friday. Clang has two shutouts in his last five games. He's up to 7-2-3 with a 2.19 GAA and a .912 save percentage over 13 appearances this season. He's still fourth on the Ducks' organizational depth chart in goal, but Petr Mrazek's (lower body) absence has opened the door for Clang to see regular time with the Gulls over the last few weeks.

  • Ducks' Calle Clang: Cruises to AHL shutout

Clang posted a 15-save shutout in AHL San Diego's 3-0 win over Abbotsford on Sunday. Clang picked up the first shutout of his AHL career with this effort. He's been good in limited time for the Gulls this season, going 5-1-2 with a 1.96 GAA and a .916 save percentage over nine contests. Clang is a bit buried on the Ducks' organizational depth chart in goal, with Ville Husso typically being the next man up should the NHL club need reinforcements.

  • Ducks' Calle Clang: Elevated from minors

Clang was promoted from AHL San Diego on Wednesday. Even with Lukas Dostal (lower body) dealing with an injury, Clang shouldn't be expected to make the Opening Night roster. Instead, the 23-year-old backstop figures to split the workload in the minors with either Petr Mrazek or Ville Husso, depending on which netminder loses the battle for the No. 2 job in Anaheim.

  • Ducks' Calle Clang: Agrees to one-year contract

Clang signed a one-year, two-way contract with Anaheim on Tuesday. Clang posted a record of 11-13-4 with a 3.17 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 31 regular-season appearances for AHL San Diego in 2024-25. The 23-year-old netminder will probably spend most, if not all, of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.

  • Ducks' Calle Clang: Sent back to minors

Clang was reassigned to AHL San Diego on Monday, Derek Lee of The Hockey News reports. Clang was recalled by the Ducks on Saturday, but he'll head back to the minors a few days later. His demotion signals that John Gibson (illness) is likely close to returning to game action.

  • Ducks' Calle Clang: Returns to minors

Clang returned to AHL San Diego on Wednesday. Clang was called up by Anaheim on Monday but didn't make his NHL debut. He has a 3.76 GAA and an .882 save percentage in 12 contests with San Diego in 2023-24. The Ducks summoned Alex Stalock from the minors in a corresponding move.
