  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Collects overtime win

Tolopilo stopped 24 of 27 shots in Sunday's 4-3 overtime win over the Ducks. Tolopilo ended a six-game losing streak with this performance. The 26-year-old still had some trouble against the Ducks' top forwards, with Cutter Gauthier scoring twice and Leo Carlsson adding the other goal. Tolopilo is now up to 6-11-2 with a 3.61 GAA and an .881 save percentage across 21 appearances this season. The Canucks have two games left on the schedule -- Tuesday at home versus the Kings and Thursday in Edmonton. Despite the win Sunday, Tolopilo is nothing more than a desperation option for fantasy managers in those last two games, should he get the start in either game.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Drawing start in Anaheim

Tolopilo will occupy the road crease Sunday against the Ducks, according to Dan Murphy of Sportsnet. Tolopilo will play for the fifth time in the Canucks' last six games, as Kevin Lankinen got the start in the first half of the team's back-to-back Saturday in San Jose. Tolopilo hasn't registered a win since March 12 against Nashville, and he'll have an uphill battle Sunday against an Anaheim club that is battling for playoff positioning in the Pacific Division. The Ducks snapped their six-game losing streak against the Sharks on Thursday, and they should have the rest advantage against a Canucks team that went to a shootout Saturday.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Yields four goals in loss

Tolopilo allowed four goals on 26 shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Kings. The Kings held a 2-1 lead after the first period and never let the Canucks back in. Tolopilo continues to have a thankless job as the Canucks' starter in the absence of Kevin Lankinen (upper body). This was Tolopilo's sixth straight loss, and it's the fifth time in that span he's allowed at least four goals. He's at a 5-11-2 record with a 3.66 GAA and an .881 save percentage over 20 appearances. Tolopilo and Jiri Patera are likely to split the next two games, as the Canucks visit the Sharks on Saturday and the Ducks on Sunday.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Slated to start Thursday

Tolopilo is slated to start on the road against the Kings on Thursday, per Dan Murphy of Sportsnet. Tolopilo is 0-5-0 with a 4.87 GAA and an .844 save percentage across his past five appearances. That's dropped him to 5-10-2 with a 3.63 GAA and an .883 save percentage in 19 outings this season. The Kings have won four of their past six (4-1-1), including a 4-0 victory over Vancouver on March 6 -- though Kevin Lankinen (upper body) got the assignment for that game.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Suffers fourth straight loss

Tolopilo stopped 17 of 23 shots in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Mammoth. Tolopilo got another start due to the absence of Kevin Lankinen (illness), but he struggled between the pipes once again. The 25-year-old has been far from reliable in most fantasy formats and has allowed three or more goals in six games in a row while allowing at least four goals in the last four. Tolopilo has posted a 5.69 GAA and an .819 save percentage during an ongoing four-game losing streak.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Saturday starter

Tolopilo will start between the pipes in Saturday's home game against the Mammoth, Tyson Cole of CanucksArmy.com reports. Tolopilo will make his second straight start after he allowed four goals on 38 shots in a 5-2 loss against the Wild on Thursday. On the season, he is 5-8-2 with a 3.57 GAA and an .887 save percentage. The 25-year-old also brings a streak of five straight games allowing three or more goals into Saturday's contest. He'll look to halt that against the Mammoth, winners of two straight games with 12 goals scored in those outings.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Slated to face Minnesota

Tolopilo is slated to start on the road against Minnesota on Thursday, per NHL.com. Tolopilo struggled in March, going 2-4-0 with a 4.46 GAA and an .835 save percentage across six outings. He has a 5-7-2 record, 3.53 GAA and .886 save percentage across 16 appearances in 2025-26. While he's left plenty to be desired this campaign, he did stop 28 of 30 shots (.933 save percentage) en route to a 4-2 home win over Minnesota on Dec. 6. The Wild rank 12th in the league with 3.22 goals per game this season.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Surrenders five goals

Tolopilo stopped 28 of 33 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Kraken. Tolopilo had won his last two outings, but the Kraken were too much for him to handle. The 25-year-old netminder is down to 5-6-2 with a 3.34 GAA and an .892 save percentage over 15 appearances this season. He continues to battle with Kevin Lankinen for playing time, though the Canucks will likely have their eyes on the draft lottery given how far adrift they are in the standings. The Canucks host the Panthers on Tuesday and the Lightning on Thursday, so Tolopilo is best avoided in weekly fantasy formats.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Snaps losing skid

Tolopilo stopped 20 of 23 shots in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blackhawks. Tolopilo was beaten twice in the first period and once more in the second, but the win was never in doubt after the Canucks added three goals in the final frame. This was Tolopilo's first win since a 2-0 victory over the Ducks on Jan. 29. Between both wins, the 25-year-old netminder had posted a 0-2-2 record with a 3.37 GAA. As the backup goaltender of one of the worst teams in the NHL, however, Tolopilo shouldn't have a lot of fantasy appeal (if any) in most formats.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Tending twine Friday

Tolopilo will be between the visiting pipes in Chicago on Friday, according to Dan Murphy of Sportsnet. Tolopilo is 3-5-2 with a 3.27 GAA and a .901 save percentage across 12 appearances this season. The Blackhawks are averaging 2.62 goals per game this season, 27th in the NHL.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Takes loss in relief outing

Tolopilo allowed a goal on 10 shots in relief of Kevin Lankinen in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Hurricanes. While Tolopilo had the better performance of Vancouver's two goalies, he was also responsible for the decisive goal, which Nikolaj Ehlers potted just under a minute after Tolopilo entered the contest. This was Tolopilo's fourth loss in a row (0-2-2), and he's given up 12 goals on 116 shots over those four appearances. The 25-year-old is now at a 3-5-2 record with a 3.27 GAA and a .901 save percentage in 12 appearances. He should get a start soon, as the Canucks visit the Blackhawks on Friday and the Jets on Saturday for a back-to-back set.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Spending break in AHL

Tolopilo was reassigned to AHL Abbotsford on Wednesday. Tolopilo went 1-2-1 with a .909 save percentage over five games during January with Vancouver. The 25-year-old will spend the Olympic break in the AHL. However, he has outplayed both Kevin Lankinen and Jiri Patera, which puts Tolopilo in a good position to return to the big club ahead of the team's Feb. 25 game versus the Jets.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Expected to face Toronto

Tolopilo is expected to start at home against Toronto on Saturday, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650. Tolopilo has a 3-3-0 record, 3.22 GAA and .903 save percentage in eight appearances in 2025-26. He stopped all 32 shots he faced in Vancouver's 2-0 victory over Anaheim, but he missed a bit of time after being pulled by a concussion spotter, so he didn't record the shutout. Toronto has struggled with a 1-5-2 record over its past eight games, though the Leafs are set to get back William Nylander (groin) on Saturday.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Perfect, but no shutout

Tolopilo stopped all 32 shots he faced in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Ducks. Tolopilo was denied a shutout because his evaluation by the concussion spotter during the first intermission prevented him from taking the ice to start the second. Kevin Lankinen handled 2:11 of ice time and made one save. Few fantasy managers would have turned to Tolopilo in most circumstances, but those who did will feel hard done by with this situation. The good news is Tolopilo was able to finish the contest and has allowed just two goals on 59 shots over his last two outings. He's 3-3-0 through eight appearances and will compete with Lankinen for playing time for the remainder of the campaign. Wins will be hard to find, as the Canucks are currently at the bottom of the league standings.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: First goalie off Thursday

Tolopilo was the first goalie to leave the ice Thursday, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports, indicating he'll get the starting nod at home versus the Ducks. Tolopilo has made just seven appearances for the Canucks this season, going 2-3-0 with a 3.72 GAA in his limited opportunities. With Thatcher Demko (hip) done for the year, the 25-year-old Tolopilo should see significantly more starts the rest of the way, though Kevin Lankinen remains the No. 1 option in Vancouver.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Allows two goals in relief outing

Tolopilo gave up two goals on 27 shots in relief of Kevin Lankinen in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Sharks. Tolopilo was able to stabilize things after Lankinen was pulled just 5:55 into the game with the Canucks down 3-1. Both goals Tolopilo allowed came on San Jose power plays. For the season, Tolopilo is 2-3-0 with a 3.72 GAA and an .887 save percentage in seven appearances. He's been alternating between the NHL and AHL, sharing the backup role in Vancouver with Jiri Patera, so it's unclear if Tolopilo will see enough time or perform well enough to warrant consideration in fantasy.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Facing Oilers

Tolopilo will patrol the home crease against Edmonton on Saturday, per Brendan Batchelor of Sportsnet 650. Kevin Lankinen is a little under the weather, but he will serve as Tolopilo's backup. The 25-year-old Tolopilo has a 2-2-0 record at the NHL level this campaign while surrendering 15 goals on 142 shots in five appearances. Edmonton ranks sixth in the league with 3.31 goals per game this season, but loses some offensive firepower with Leon Draisaitl (personal) unavailable to play.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Steady in relief

Tolopilo stopped all six shots he faced in relief of Kevin Lankinen in Monday's 4-0 loss to the Red Wings. Tolopilo played the third period, and Detroit's only goal in that frame went into an empty net. Through four appearances this season, Tolopilo has stopped 92 of 101 shots, good for a .911 save percentage. With Thatcher Demko (lower body) likely returning to action Thursday versus the Sabres, Tolopilo is probably going to be demoted to AHL Abbotsford, but he has shown well during this stint in the NHL even while the team in front of him has struggled.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Getting start Saturday

Tolopilo will start at home versus the Wild on Saturday, Jeff Paterson of CanucksArmy.com reports. Tolopilo will start the second half of a back-to-back after Kevin Lankinen was in goal for a 4-1 loss to the Mammoth on Friday. This will be a tough task for Tolopilo, who may struggle to get goal support. The Wild have scored 13 goals over their last six games, but they are 4-1-1 in that span.

  • Canucks' Nikita Tolopilo: Called up Thursday

Tolopilo was recalled from AHL Abbotsford under emergency conditions Thursday. Tolopilo was designated as non-roster Monday while tending to a personal matter, but he was activated Wednesday and will join the NHL club a day later. Tolopilo should serve as Kevin Lankinen's backup during his time with Vancouver. Tolopilo has made two starts for Vancouver this year, going 1-1-0 with a 3.56 GAA and .892 save percentage.
