Dickinson earned his first career multi-point effort by helping out on goals by Macklin Celebrini and Tyler Toffoli in the first period. With five helpers over his last 13 games, Dickinson has found a little more success on offense. The 19-year-old blueliner is at eight points, 38 shots on net, 38 hits, 37 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 42 appearances. He's done a lot of learning on the job this year, but the future remains bright for the 11th overall pick from 2024.

Since the start of December, Dickinson has three helpers, 15 blocked shots, 13 hits, 10 shots on net and a plus-1 rating over 16 outings. The 19-year-old defenseman stayed with the Sharks rather than getting loaned out to Team Canada for the World Junior Championship, so the NHL club is committed to getting him on-the-job experience this season. Dickinson has plenty of potential in the long run, but with just five points, a minus-3 rating, 30 shots on net, 30 hits and 28 blocked shots through 35 contests, he's best left off rosters in redraft formats this season.

Dickinson had gone 12 games without a point, posting a minus-6 rating and 12 blocked shots in that span. The Sharks have sheltered him on the third pairing, but he's played in all seven games in December since the team hasn't had a back-to-back set yet this month. Dickinson's at three points, 24 shots on net, 22 hits, 22 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 26 appearances so far. He's already burned the first year of his entry-level deal, but the 19-year-old's participation in the upcoming World Junior Championship hasn't been decided upon yet. He may benefit from a couple of weeks away from the NHL to build some confidence since he hasn't been logging much ice time or offense in his rookie year.

Dickinson has accounted for 20 goals, 59 points and a plus-38 rating across 38 games with OHL London in 2024-25.
Dickinson delivered 18 markers and 70 points over 68 games in 2023-24, so he's already surpassed that goal total in 30 fewer contests this season. The 18-year-old currently ranks fourth among all blueliners in the OHL in scoring behind Zayne Parekh, Henry Mews and Luca Marrelli. Dickinson will be a big part of San Jose's future -- the club selected him with the 11th overall pick in the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.
