Rangers' Adam Fox: Two helpers in Detroit
Fox pocketed two assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 4-0 win over the Red Wings.
The All-Star blueliner had gone eight games without a multi-point performance, managing just three assists over that stretch, but Fox got rolling Saturday with helpers on a power-play tally by Chris Kreider in the first period, and an empty-netter by Reilly Smith in the third. Fox is still looking for his first goal of 2024-25, but he's collected 11 assists through 13 contests.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Draws power-play helper
Fox posted a power-play assist, two shots on goal and four PIM in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.
Fox snapped a three-game dry spell when he assisted on Artemi Panarin's power-play tally in the second period, which stood as the game-winner. Even with the mini-slump, Fox has nine helpers (five on the power play) through 11 games this season, though he's still awaiting his first goal. The defenseman has added 13 shots on net, 12 PIM, seven hits, 11 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating while playing in his usual top-pairing role.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Collects apple in win
Fox had an assist, two shots on net and two PIM in Tuesday's 7-2 win over Montreal.
The Rangers' brightest stars teamed up to give the team an early lead. Fox and Artemi Panarin picked up assists on Mika Zibanejad's goal just 54 seconds into the matchup. The helper was Fox's seventh of the season to go along with six blocks, four shots, four PIM and a plus-5 rating.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Three assists vs. Detroit
Fox provided three power-play helpers in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Red Wings.
Fox has been one of the most productive blue-liners in the early stages of the season and has racked up six assists already, though those have been divided in two separate games with three helpers -- the other one was the 6-5 loss to Utah on Oct. 12. It's worth noting Fox has been particularly effective in the power play, with four of his six helpers coming with the man advantage. Fox has registered at least 50 assists and 70 points in each of the last three seasons, and he figures to remain a key component of the Rangers' offensive scheme as long as he remains healthy.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Three helpers Saturday
Fox collected three assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to Utah HC.
After being held scoreless in the Rangers' season opener, Fox opened his 2024-25 account in style Saturday. The blueliner helped set up tallies by Artemi Panarin and K'Andre Miller in the second period before Fox banked a shot off Will Cuylle for the game-tying goal in the third. Fox has recorded more than 70 points in three straight seasons, and there's little reason to think that streak will be in any danger.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Involved in both goals Friday
Fox bagged a goal on two shots and added an assist in Friday's 5-2 preseason loss to the Islanders.
Fox netted the Rangers' second goal in the first period, though he was fortunate to score, as Semyon Varlamov's save bounced off an Islanders teammate before going into the net. The star defenseman should play a massive role at both ends of the ice for the Rangers in 2024-25 after notching a career-high 73 points (17 goals, 56 assists) across 72 regular-season contests in 2023-24.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Adds late helper
Fox recorded his eighth assist of the playoffs in Saturday's 2-1 season-ending loss against Florida in Game 6.
Fox had the secondary assist on Artemi Panarin's goal late in the third period, but New York couldn't pull off the comeback. Fox added one shot, three hits, two blocks and a plus-1 rating in 24:11 of ice time. The 26-year-old led New York's blueliners in points this postseason with eight. That is not surprising, but he did not score a goal in 16 contests. There's speculation that the star defenseman could've been battling an injury, but there should be clarification on that front in the coming days.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Gets two helpers in Game 4
Fox registered two assists in a 3-2 overtime loss to Florida in Game 4 on Tuesday.
Fox went through a quiet stretch from May 9-26 in which he registered just one assist over seven outings. It's rare for him to have an extended period where he's not contributing much offensively. The 26-year-old has surpassed the 70-point milestone in each of his past three campaigns, finishing the 2023-24 regular season with 17 goals and 73 points across 72 contests. It wouldn't be surprising to see Fox build off his strong performance Tuesday and start factoring in on the scoresheet with some regularity.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Held off scoresheet in loss
Fox was held without a point in Wednesday's 3-0 loss to Florida in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Fox's 24:56 of ice time was the most of any skater on either side in the contest, but he was unable to help New York's offense in the loss. The 26-year-old had five blocked shots, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating Wednesday. It's the fifth consecutive outing that Fox has failed to register a point, a rare occurrence for the star defenseman. The Long Island native has four points (no goals) and a minus-1 rating in 11 contests so far during the playoffs.

Fox logged an assist, two blocked shots, two PIM and a minus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Hurricanes in Game 1.
Fox has a helper in each of the last three games after he was held off the scoresheet in the first two contests of the playoffs. The defenseman has added four shots on net, 15 blocked shots, five hits and a plus-2 rating. Fox will see a heavy workload on the Rangers' top pairing and first power-play unit, but he may have to focus more on defense since the Hurricanes boast a strong top six.

Fox had a power-play assist, two shots on goal and three blocked shots in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Capitals in Game 4.

He's added four shots on net, 13 blocked shots and four hits over four playoff outings. Fox put up 73 points over 72 regular-season games and should continue to provide strong all-around play from his spot on the Rangers' top pairing.

Rangers' Adam Fox: Sets up power-play goal in win
Fox emerged with a power-play assist in Friday's 3-1 win over the Capitals to take Game 3.
Fox didn't have a point in the previous two games of the series, which comes as a bit of a surprise after he doled out 56 helpers on his way to 73 points in the regular season. Nonetheless, the Rangers have the momentum and are in prime position to try and advance to the second round in Sunday's Game 4 matchup on the road.
