Top Trevor Zegras News

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Lights lamp Wednesday

Zegras scored a power-play goal on four shots in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Sabres.

Zegras extended his point streak to four games (three goals, two assists) with his first-period go-ahead goal. The 24-year-old also took a rough hit from Rasmus Dahlin in the second period, but Zegras was able to stay in the game. For the season, Zegras is at 10 goals, 26 points (11 on the power play), 65 shots on net, 20 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 26 appearances, mainly in a top-six role.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Two points including winner

Zegras scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Saturday's 5-3 victory over the Devils.

The former Duck potted his first GWG with the Flyers when he ripped a one-timer past Jacob Markstrom midway through the second period, giving Philly a 4-1 lead. Zegras hasn't gone more than two straight games all season without producing a point, and through 24 contests he's delivered nine goals and 24 points.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Scores with lone shot

Zegras scored a power-play goal in Friday's 4-3 shootout win over the Islanders.

Zegras found the back of the net with a wrister at 1:55 of the second period, giving the Flyers a 3-0 lead, although they'd have to fight back and earn the win in the shootout. Zegras has eight goals and 14 assists in 23 games this season. If he can keep this pace, he would be in line to post career-best numbers in both goals and points -- as long as he stays healthy throughout the campaign.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Scores late goal

Zegras netted a goal and fired four shots on target in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Devils.

Zegras continues to impress with his new team this season as he placed the bow on top of a strong victory for the Flyers with a late goal Saturday. Overall, the 24-year-old winger has seven goals, 21 points and 47 shots on goal in 20 games this season. Zegras has five goals in his last four games and has revitalized his career in the Flyers' system. He's already just 12 points away from surpassing the 32 points he posted in 57 games with the Ducks last season and has a strong chance to surpass his career high of 65 points from the 2022-23 campaign. Zegras should be rostered in the vast majority of fantasy formats.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Three points plus shootout winner

Zegras scored twice on seven shots and added an assist in Friday's 6-5 shootout win over the Blues.

The line of Zegras, Christian Dvorak and Owen Tippett accounted for all five of the Flyers' goals in regulation. Zegras had a chance to win it on a penalty shot in overtime that he couldn't convert, but he went back to the same move to beat Jordan Binnington for the lone shootout tally by either team. Prior to Friday, Zegras had been limited to four assists over his first six outings in November. All of his goals this season have come in pairs -- he has six goals, 19 points, 37 shots on net, 18 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 17 appearances. He had just 32 points in 57 contests with the Ducks last year, but it looks like the offseason trade that sent Zegras to Philadelphia has sparked his offense.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Excellence continues

Zegras picked up two assists and scored the winner in the shootout of Tuesday's 5-4 win over Montreal.

Zegras' resurrection continues -- he has 15 points (four goals, 11 assists) in 13 games, and he continues to lead Philly in scoring, five points ahead of Travis Konecny. Zegras has been remarkably consistent under coach Rick Tocchet -- he has a point in 10 of 13 games, and eight of his 15 points have come with the man advantage. It feels like Philly is a fit for the young star.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Four-game, eight-point streak

Zegras picked up an assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Zegras stretched his point streak to four games and eight points (four goals, four assists). He has 13 shots on the streak. Zegras has responded well to coach Rick Tocchet's approach, and the move to Philly could be the ticket to both maturity and stardom.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Three-game, seven-point streak

Zegras had two goals and an assist in a 4-1 win over the Predators on Thursday.

One goal came on the power play. Zegras has started to warm up -- he's on a three-game, seven-point (four goals, three assists) scoring streak that includes two three-point efforts. He also has four goals, eight assists and 16 shots in 10 games this season. The Zegras resurrection may be in progress, but we'll temper expectations for a bit longer. However, he's had an encouraging start to the year.

Zegras scored twice and added an assist in a 4-3 shootout victory over the Islanders on Saturday.

Zegras notched an assist and two PIM in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Jets.

Zegras has picked up a helper in three straight games, though he's still looking for his first goal as a Flyer. The 24-year-old set up an Owen Tippett tally in the second period Thursday. Zegras started the year at center but looks to be interchangeable with the more defensive-minded Christian Dvorak in a middle-six role. Through four outings, Zegras has added six shots on net, four PIM and a plus-2 rating.

  • Flyers' Trevor Zegras: Dealt to Philadelphia

Zegras was traded to the Flyers from the Ducks on Monday in exchange for Ryan Poehling, the No. 45 pick in the 2025 NHL Entry Draft and a 2026 fourth-round pick, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports.

Zegras was mentioned in trade rumors in the second half of the 2024-25 season, but he ultimately remained with Anaheim. However, he'll now don a new sweater for the first time since being drafted with the No. 9 pick in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 24-year-old racked up 12 goals, 20 assists, 50 hits and 27 blocked shots while averaging 17:02 of ice time over 57 appearances with the Ducks last year.

  • Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Stays warm with goal

Zegras scored a goal in Saturday's 6-2 loss to the Canucks.

Zegras has four goals and four assists over his last eight contests. The 24-year-old is in one of his best stretches in the last two years, which has helped to salvage the second half of his 2024-25 campaign. He's at 11 goals, 29 points, 93 shots on net, 42 hits and a minus-7 rating over 51 appearances. Zegras is playing on the third line, but his power-play role functionally boosts his production enough for fantasy managers to consider him a top-six forward.

  • Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Logs pair of points in shootout win

Zegras scored a goal on three shots and added a power-play assist in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout win over the Sharks.

This was Zegras' second multi-point effort over the last six contests, a span in which he has three goals, four helpers and 14 shots. For the season, the talented 24-year-old is up to 10 goals, 28 points, 91 shots on net, 38 hits, 23 PIM and a minus-4 rating across 49 outings. It's not quite the 60-point level he was establishing himself with earlier in his career, but Zegras' recent play has been as close to that as he has been since 2022-23.
