The Guardians send out Joey Cantillo (4-2, 3.57 ERA), who is hoping to last more than two innings after he served up four runs on three hits in a loss to the Nationals in his last outing. The SportsLine model has the Yankees winning in 73% of simulations, and you can trade for them on Kalshi at 68 cents per share. Braves to win vs. Blue Jays
The Braves have been the best team in baseball through the first half, but they've been a bit less productive at home compared to the road. They'll try to change that when they welcome the Blue Jays on Tuesday. Toronto is 12-18 away from Rogers Centre, so this is a great opportunity for Atlanta to create even more separation at the top of the NL East. Kevin Gausman (4-3, 3.13 ERA) takes the bump for Toronto, while Atlanta rolls with Bryce Elder (4-3, 2.50 ERA). The SportsLine model has the Braves triumphing in 63% of simulations and you can trade for them at 54 cents per share on Kalshi.
Mariners to win vs. Mets
Seattle won its seventh game in a row on Monday thanks to Cole Young's walk-off single in the 10th inning, and the Mariners will go for their eighth win in a row when they send Logan Gilbert (3-4, 3.69 ERA) to the mound. Gilbert went six scoreless innings in his last appearance and he'll try to shut down a Mets lineup that struggled on Monday but put up 25 runs over the previous three games. New York will open this game with Jonah Tong (1-0, 0.00 ERA). Seattle wins in 59% of SportsLine simulations and you can trade for the Mariners on Kalshi at 58 cents per share. Dodgers-Diamondbacks more than 9.5 runs
These teams combined for just five runs in Monday's series opener, but Tuesday could offer a more favorable pitching duel for both lineups. The Dodgers hand the ball to Eric Lauer (2-5, 5.95 ERA) while the Diamondbacks turn to Michael Soroka (7-2, 3.25 ERA). Soroka has been getting wins but has given up at least four hits in each of his last three starts. The SportsLine model has these teams topping 9.5 combined runs in 57.1% of simulations and you can make that trade at 49 cents per share on Kalshi.
