GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (AP) Brett Bisping had 17 points and 13 rebounds and Siena pulled out a 71-68 win over Bucknell on Saturday.
Nico Clareth, who had 16 points for the Saints, broke a tie with three free throws with 56.9 seconds left after he was fouled on a desperation 3-point attempt as the shot clock expired. After a Bucknell miss, Marquis Wright drove into the lane late in the shot clock and was fouled trying to force up a shot.
Wright missed both free throws but in the scramble for the rebound, Bisping was fouled, making one free throw for a 70-66 lead with 13.6 seconds left. Zach Thomas hit a long 2-pointer for the Bison with 5.5 seconds left. Siena's Javion Ogunyemi was fouled at 2.1 seconds and made the first free throw for his 1,000th point and Bucknell's long heave wasn't close.
There were 50 fouls in the game but Siena (4-7) was just 22 of 34 from the line, keeping the door open for Bucknell (7-4). The Bison were just 19 of 25.
