76ers' Johni Broome: To be re-evaluated in four weeks
Broome underwent a successful partial meniscectomy Saturday to address a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee, and he'll be re-evaluated in four weeks, Adam Zagoria of ZagsBlog.com reports.
While the 76ers previously noted that surgery could potentially end the rookie's season, a meniscectomy typically carries a shorter recovery timeline of 4-to-6 weeks compared to a full repair. Broome sustained the injury Feb. 21 while playing for the G League's Delaware Blue Coats. The second-round pick out of Auburn has appeared in just 11 games for Philadelphia this regular season, averaging 0.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 5.0 minutes per contest.

76ers' Johni Broome: Surgery scheduled for Saturday
Broome is set to undergo meniscus surgery Saturday, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.
The 76ers will likely update Broome's timetable post-surgery, but head coach Nick Nurse said there's a chance this will end Broome's season. That said, he's been a negligible part of the rotation for the 76ers this year, so Broome's absence from the active roster won't impact fantasy leagues.

The 76ers announced that Broome sustained a lateral meniscus tear in his right knee while playing for the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Saturday, Kyle Neubeck of AllPHLY.com reports.
The 76ers' medical staff will conduct additional tests on Broome's knee before a determination is made whether he'll require a meniscectomy or a full repair of the meniscus. If the latter procedure is required, Broome would be sidelined for the rest of the season. A meniscectomy, meanwhile, typically carries a 4-to-6-week recovery timeline, which would give Broome a chance at playing again this season. Though he's been a member of the 76ers' 15-man roster all season, Broome has made just 11 appearances at the NBA level and has averaged 0.9 points and 1.5 rebounds in 5.0 minutes per contest.

76ers' Johni Broome: Rejoins parent club
The 76ers recalled Broome from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Friday, Derek Bodner of AllPHLY.com reports.
Broome will rejoin Philadelphia ahead of its upcoming Saturday/Sunday road back-to-back set in New Orleans and Minnesota, respectively. The rookie big man suited up for the G League squad Thursday in a 127-120 win over the Maine Celtics, finishing with 26 points (11-19 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), 11 rebounds, six assists, three blocks and one steal in 36 minutes.

Philadelphia recalled Broome from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Monday.
Broome continues to split time between the 76ers and their G League affiliate, but he only sees significant playing time with the Blue Coats. Dating all the way back to Nov. 30, Broome has logged just 10 cumulative minutes on an NBA court, and it is very likely he will not play much if at all in the foreseeable future.

The 76ers recalled Broome from the G League's Delaware Blue Coats on Tuesday, Austin Krell of OnPattison.com reports.
After being assigned to the G League on Friday, Broome will rejoin the parent club ahead of Tuesday's game against the Bucks. The rookie second-rounder has logged just nine minutes over two appearances with Philadelphia since the beginning of December, so he isn't guaranteed to see the court.
