The rookie guard led the Nets in scoring on the night, as he looks increasingly comfortable in the starting five. Demin has scored in double digits in nine of his last 10 games, averaging 15.7 points, 3.7 boards, 3.7 threes, 3.3 assists and 1.2 steals in 28.9 minutes while shooting 44.6 percent from long distance.

Nets' Egor Demin: Scores 18 points with full line
Demin chipped in 18 points (5-9 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-5 FT), five rebounds, five assists, one block and one steal over 32 minutes during Wednesday's 104-103 overtime loss to the Magic.
Demin was quiet for most of the game, but with just five seconds left in regulation, he drilled a huge triple to send the game to overtime. The late, three-point make was just his second bucket of the evening, but he caught fire during the overtime period and scored 10 of his 18 points during the final frame. The rookie has been in a nice rhythm over the past four games, flirting with top-75 numbers behind averages of 16.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.8 assists, 4.3 triples and 1.0 steals per game.

Demin (back) is available for Friday's game against the Wizards.
Demin is back in action for the second leg of this back-to-back set. The Nets are going to be very shorthanded Friday, so Demin is likely to see a spike in usage as a result.

While Michael Porter carried the offensive load in the first half with 25 points, Demin helped the Nets close things out with 15 points in the second half, when he connected on four of his five three-pointers. The rookie first-rounder has scored in double-digits in each of his last four games, averaging 10.9 points, 3.8 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 2.3 threes over 25.5 minutes per game since permanently entering the Nets' starting lineup Nov. 7.

Nets' Egor Demin: Knocks down four triples Sunday
Demin tallied 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-8 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and two steals over 30 minutes during Brooklyn's 96-81 win over Toronto on Sunday.
Demin helped close things out in the fourth quarter with nine points on a trio of three-pointers, and he finished Sunday's contest as the Nets' third-leading scorer behind Michael Porter (24) and Noah Clowney (19). It was the fifth time this season that Demin connected on four triples in a game, and since permanently entering the starting lineup Nov. 7, he has averaged 10.4 points, 3.7 assists, 3.3 rebounds, 2.2 threes and 0.9 steals over 25.1 minutes per game.

Nets' Egor Demin: Bounces back with big line
Demin closed Sunday's 127-82 win over the Bucks with 17 points (6-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 3-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals in 26 minutes.
Demin was called out by his head coach for his recent dud against the Mavericks on Friday, so credit to the rookie for bouncing back. Through 22 regular-season games, Demin holds averages of 8.5 points, 3.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.8 three-pointers.

Nets' Egor Demin: Barely visible in loss
Demin ended Friday's 119-111 loss to Dallas with three points (1-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and two steals over 18 minutes.
Despite continuing to start, Demin has been mostly a non-factor over the past two weeks. In five games during that time, he has averaged just 6.6 points, 3.6 assists and 1.0 three-pointers in 23.1 minutes per game. It does appear as though he has locked down the starting point guard spot, providing managers with a fantasy floor from which to work. With that said, he should be looked upon as more of a stash at this point.

Demin closed with 23 points (8-18 FG, 5-14 3Pt, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, five assists, two blocks and one steal across 30 minutes during Friday's 115-103 loss to Philadelphia.
Demin was scoreless through the first half of action in this one, but he caught fire after halftime and finished with new career highs in points, rebounds and blocks. The rookie has had some solid showings this season, but he's struggled to string it all together consistently. Demin is not much more than a low-end assist specialist in fantasy leagues.
