Battle is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against Washington, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Battle will join the first unit for the fifth time this season in the absence of the resting RJ Barrett on Monday. As a member of the first unit in 2024-25, Battle has averaged 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, 0.8 assists and 2.8 three-pointers in 31.8 minutes.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Pops for 14 points in loss
Battle provided 14 points (5-14 FG, 4-12 3Pt), three rebounds and one assist across 30 minutes during Monday's 129-89 loss to the Suns.
Battle's 14 points were the most he has scored since late November. Having been in and out of the rotation, it's fair to say it's been an underwhelming rookie season for Battle. Through 46 games played, he is averaging 6.1 points and 1.5 three-pointers in 14.7 minutes per game. However, with Toronto frequently resting its regulars, Battle could see more usage in the final weeks of the regular season.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Scores 11 points in first NBA start
Battle contributed 11 points (4-15 FG, 3-12 3Pt), eight rebounds and one assist across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 118-105 victory over the 76ers.
With the Raptors dealing with a plethora of injuries, Battle was put in position to make the first start of his NBA career Wednesday. He wasn't efficient from the floor (especially from three-point range), but he managed to help on the boards with eight rebounds. Battle could remain in the starting five against the Pacers on Friday if the likes of Scottie Barnes (hand), Ochai Agbaji (ankle), RJ Barrett (personal) and Jonathan Mogbo (nose) remain out.

Battle is part of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.
The 23-year-old rookie will make his debut as a starter Wednesday while the Raptors deal with plenty of injuries. Battle will be flanked by Jared Rhoden, Jamal Shead, Colin Castleton and Jakob Poeltl in the first unit. He averaged 9.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in his last three appearances.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Available to play Wednesday
Battle (nose) is available for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Battle will suit up Wednesday and should see his regular workload off the bench. However, he's averaging 18.7 minutes per game since the All-Star break, so he shouldn't carry a ton of fantasy upside.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Iffy for Wednesday
Battle (nose) is listed as questionable for Wednesday's game against the 76ers, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Battle is tending to a broken nose, an injury he initially sustained while playing in the G League on Feb. 26 before he aggravated it in Monday's loss to the Wizards. The rookie forward has appeared in each of Toronto's last three games, averaging 9.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per contest.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Done for night
Battle won't return to Monday's game against the Wizards after aggravating a nasal fracture, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Battle previously broke his nose while playing for the G League's Raptors 905 on Feb. 26. He appeared to suffer the aggravation of the injury in the first quarter, when he checked out of the game with 3:36 remaining and headed for the locker room. The 23-year-old forward was able to return for the second quarter before being shut down at halftime. He'll finish the game with five points (2-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt), and three rebounds across 12 minutes.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Heads to locker room
Battle went into the locker room after suffering an apparent facial injury in the first quarter of Monday's game against Washington, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
The forward was seemingly hit in the face by an opposing player and checked out of the game with 3:36 remaining in the opening quarter. Battle previously broke his nose Feb. 26 while playing for the G League's Raptors 905, so he may have suffered an aggravation of that injury.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Puts up 11 points in return
Battle (nose) tallied 11 points (4-6 FG, 3-5 3Pt), one rebound and one block across 23 minutes in Friday's 118-109 win over the Jazz.
Battle fractured his nose in a Feb. 26 appearance for the G League's Raptors 905, missing Toronto's subsequent three games. He was cleared to return to action for the 905 in Thursday's 120-117 loss to the College Park Skyhawks, finishing that game with 11 points, seven rebounds, two steals and one assist in 25 minutes. He was immediately recalled following that game and entered the Toronto rotation Friday while eight other players were ruled out for rest or injury. If the Raptors get multiple players back for Saturday's game against the Wizards, Battle could risk falling out of the rotation.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Heading to G League
The Raptors assigned Battle to the G League's Raptors 905 on Wednesday, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Since being recalled from the G League last Thursday, Battle has proceeded to miss the Raptors' last three games while recovering from a nasal fracture. His assignment to the G League likely suggests that Battle will take part in practice, which could mean that the rookie forward is back in action for Toronto's next game Friday versus the Jazz.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Out with nasal fracture
Battle won't play Friday versus Chicago due to a nasal fracture, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.
Battle presumably suffered the injury during his most recent appearance Wednesday with the G League's Raptors 905, when he played 22 minutes in a loss to the Windy City Bulls. Though he won't be ready to suit up Friday, Battle could be an option to play Sunday in Orlando if he's comfortable wearing a mask to protect the broken nose.

Toronto recalled Battle from the G League's Raptors 905 on Thursday.
Battle has had a busy rookie season, playing in 12 games for the 905 and making 39 appearances for Toronto. The 23-year-old's most recent G League assignment came after he fell out of the Toronto rotation, but he could get the chance to pick up minutes Friday in Chicago if Scottie Barnes (hip) remains sidelined.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Heats up off bench
Battle put up 14 points (4-8 FG, 3-6 3Pt), four rebounds, one assist and one block in 11 minutes of action during the 131-108 loss to the Cavaliers on Wednesday.
The rookie wing had his second-highest scoring game as a pro despite the loss, perhaps proving to the Raptors they made the right choice in promoting him from a two-way deal to a standard NBA contract last week. Despite the solid outing, Battle should remain a non-factor in most fantasy leagues due to his lack of volume. He'll also likely be one of the players most affected once Brandon Ingram (ankle) officially joins the lineup, although it appears that could be quite a ways off at this point. Battle's next chance to take the court comes Friday against the Heat.

Raptors' Jamison Battle: Converted to standard deal Friday
The Raptors converted Battle's two-way contract into a three-year standard deal Friday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Battle has seen the majority of his playing time at the G League level of late, though he has shown enough flashes to latch onto the club via a three-year deal. The undrafted rookie out of Ohio State has appeared in 35 regular-season outings with Toronto, averaging 5.4 points and 1.8 rebounds across 12.6 minutes per contest. He is also shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 41.7 percent from beyond the arc while averaging 3.1 three-point attempts per game.

Battle suited up for the first time in eight games, playing at least 10 minutes for the first time in over a month. Although he was a consistent part of the rotation to begin the season, his role has dwindled of late, to the point where he is rarely seen outside of G League appearances.
