Iconic programs take center stage during the Week 4 college football schedule in a pair of new conference matchups. In the Big Ten, new conference member No. 11 USC takes on No. 18 Michigan at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday on CBS. The latest Week 4 college football odds from SportsLine consensus list the Wolverines as 5-point underdogs after they've started the year 0-3 against the spread. In the SEC, it's No. 6 Tennessee at No. 15 Oklahoma as the Sooners play their first conference game in their new home as 6.5-point underdogs.

The Big 12 also has a marquee matchup with No. 12 Utah traveling to No. 14 Oklahoma State (-2.5) in a battle that could go a long way in determining the conference champion. Top college football predictions for Week 4

One of the top college football picks Marshall is recommending for Week 4: He's taking No. 14 Oklahoma (+6.5) to cover at home against No. 6 Tennessee on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET. This has been one of the biggest line movers on the Week 4 slate as Oklahoma was as much as a 5-point favorite in the lookahead lines. It has crossed all the way over to Tennessee -6.5, and Marshall has found some key trends that point to Oklahoma's favor.

After a slow start at OU, head coach Brent Venables has now covered in seven of the past nine games at home. Tennessee also struggled to get going on the road last year, covering just once in five opportunities. The Vols have dominated thus far, but this is easily their biggest test in terms of opposing talent and being in a hostile environment.

The total, meanwhile, has fallen from 61.5 to 57.5, and Marshall likes the value of the Over since these teams are averaging a combined 97.4 points per game thus far in 2024. See which other picks to make here
