  • Broncos' Michael Deiter: Placed on injured reserve

The Broncos placed Deiter (quadriceps) on injured reserve Thursday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.

Deiter suffered a severe quadriceps injury Wednesday that will end his season, so the move to injured reserve is not surprising. The center's absence may not impact the Broncos' starting offensive line, but with starter Luke Wattenberg's (undisclosed) injury history, the team definitely would've felt safer with Deiter present on the depth chart.

  • Broncos' Michael Deiter: Done for year

Deiter suffered a quadriceps injury that will require surgery and end his season, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.

Deiter signed with Denver in January and he was expected to serve as veteran depth piece on the offensive line. The 29-year-old will now shift his focus to 2027 and he'll likely be placed on injured reserve in the near future.

  • Commanders' Michael Deiter: Back with Washington

The Commanders re-signed Deiter on Friday.

Deiter appeared in all 17 of Washington's regular-season games in 2024, drawing two starts. He contributed on special teams during the team's three postseason contests. He'll reprise a depth role at center in the 2025 campaign.

  • Commanders' Michael Deiter: Moves east

Deiter signed a contract with the Commanders on Monday.

Deiter has spent time with Miami and most recently Houston since he entered the NFL in 2019. The 27-year-old has lined up at guard and center and started 12 games for the Texans last season. He should strengthen the depth of Washington's offensive line in the fall.

  • Texans' Michael Deiter: Practices fully Wednesday

Deiter (chest) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice, DJ Bien-Aime of ESPN.com reports.

The 27-year-old veteran missed the Week 4 win over the Steelers but appears ready to return for Week 5 against the Falcons this Sunday. Deiter played 15 offensive snaps in the season opener but has been limited to light special teams work ever since as a backup interior lineman.

  • Texans' Michael Deiter: Out Sunday

Deiter (chest) is inactive ahead of Sunday's game against Pittsburgh.

Houston is down another offensive lineman this Sunday, as Deiter popped up on the team's injury report with a chest issue that held him out of practice Friday. Jarrett Patterson is the next man up at center on the Texans' depth chart.

  • Dolphins' Michael Deiter: Back on practice field

Deiter participated in practice Wednesday, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

He had missed the past week dealing with a foot issue that's plagued him since last season. Deiter likely lost his spot as a starter after Miami added Connor Williams this offseason, but he's still expected to make the 53-man roster and should at least be a solid depth piece for a revamped Dolphins offensive line.

  • Dolphins' Michael Deiter: No concerns yet

Deiter (foot) is not expected to miss any regular-season time, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Deiter missed eight games last season due to a foot injury, which is apparently still causing the 25-year-old issues. He's currently expected to back up Connor Williams at center.

  • Dolphins' Michael Deiter: Activated from IR

Deiter (foot) was activated from IR on Saturday.

Deiter had been on IR since Oct. 2, when he was injured in practice. The third-year pro was designated to return Nov. 24 and will look to return Sunday against the Giants. Whether he reclaims his role as starting center or if Austin Reiter continues to hold onto it remains to be seen.

  • Dolphins' Michael Deiter: Designated for return

The Dolphins have designated Deiter (foot) for a return from IR, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Deiter hasn't suited up since being placed on IR on Oct. 2 due to a foot injury he sustained in practice, but he will now have a 21-day window to be evaluated by the team. When the former Wisconsin lineman retakes the field, he stands to reclaim the starting center role.

  • Dolphins' Michael Deiter: Might not be ready

Deiter (foot) is unlikely to play this week, Hal Habib of The Palm Beach Post reports.

Deiter injured his foot in practice and has been on IR since Oct. 2. Greg Mancz (ankle) originally replaced him as the starting center, but he is now on IR as well. If Deiter is unable to return in Week 11, it will likely be Austin Reiter drawing the start.
