The Chargers placed Biadasz (knee) on injured reserve Sunday.
Biadasz's placement on injured reserve means the 2020 fourth-rounder will be sidelined for the entire 2026 season. He suffered multiple injuries to his left knee -- including his ACL -- during Tuesday's training camp practice. There was initial optimism that he would be available toward the tail end of the regular season, but Biadasz will now shift his focus toward being fully healthy for the 2027 campaign. Chargers' Tyler Biadasz: Team hoping for late-season return
The Chargers are hoping Biadasz (knee) will be able to return late in the season, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Biadasz suffered injuries to multiple ligaments in his left knee during Tuesday's practice and is now looking at a multi-month recovery. The Chargers have been struck hard by offensive-line injuries multiple years running now, and Biadasz is the latest to go down after he signed a three-year, $30 million contract with the team back in March. Second-round rookie Jack Slaughter was initially supposed to compete at guard but is now expected to move to center for the Bolts.

Biadasz is out indefinitely after suffering damage to his ACL and additional injuries to his left knee Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The injury bug seems to have a taste for the Chargers' offensive linemen, and now their new starting center is in danger of missing most or all of the upcoming season. Biadasz signed a three-year, $30 million contract in March after making 15-plus starts in each of the past five seasons for Dallas and Washington. Rookie second-round pick Jake Slaughter is the favorite to step in at center for the Chargers.

Chargers' Tyler Biadasz: Set for long-term absence due to knee injury
Biadasz is expected to face a long-term absence after he suffered what is believed to be a significant knee injury during Tuesday's practice, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
After a teammate fell on his leg during the session, Biadasz wasn't able to put any weight on the before being carted off the field. The Chargers are still gathering medical information on Biadasz's injury before establishing a diagnosis, but Garafolo relays that the 28-year-old suffered damage to "several ligaments" in his knee. Even if Biadasz avoids a season-ending injury, he looks set to miss extended time, creating a major hole on the Los Angeles offensive line after he signed a three-year, $30 million deal back in March. With Biadasz set to miss time, rookie Jake Slaughter looks to be first in line to step in as the Chargers' starting center.

Biadasz joined the Chargers this offseason after a two-year stint in Washington, signing a three-year, $30 million deal in the process. He was expected to handle center duties for a Justin Herbert-led offense, but after going down during team drills Tuesday, he wasn't able to put any weight on his leg.
