Packers' Aaron Banks: Finds new home
Banks (knee) is slated to sign a four-year, $77 million contract with the Packers, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Banks was regarded as one of the best offensive linemen available in free agency. His 2024 campaign ended on injured reserve due to an MCL injury, but he should be healthy by the beginning of next season and is slated to take over as the Packers' new starting left guard in 2025.

49ers' Aaron Banks: Shifts to IR
The 49ers placed Banks (knee) on injured reserve Monday.
Banks sustained a season-ending MCL injury in the 49ers' Week 16 loss to the Dolphins, so Monday's shift to IR comes as no surprise. Nick Zakelj is expected to assume San Francisco's top left guard duties for the remainder of the season, with Austen Pleasants likely serving as the top backup.

49ers' Aaron Banks: Suffers season-ending injury
Banks (knee) suffered a season-ending MCL injury in Sunday's loss to the Dolphins, David Lombardi of SFStandard.com reports.
Banks sustained the knee injury in the second half of the contest, bringing his season to a premature end. Fellow offensive linemen Jaylon Moore (quadriceps) and Trent Williams (ankle) were both lost for the season as well over the weekend. Nick Zakelj replaced Banks at left guard against Miami and will likely operate in that role in Week 17 against the Lions on Monday Night Football.
