Top OG Anunoby News

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Fills stat sheet once again

Anunoby had 14 points (6-14 FG, 2-9 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and two steals over 41 minutes during Monday's 113-108 win over the Raptors.

Even though Anunoby isn't expected to be anything more than the Knicks' third-best option on offense in most games, he remains a solid fantasy play across all formats due to his ability to fill the stat sheet on both ends of the court. The veteran forward has scored in double digits while recording at least two tallies in each of the six major categories in his last three appearances. He's averaging 18.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.3 assists, 3.3 steals, 2.3 blocks and 2.3 three-pointers made per game in that span.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Fills stat sheet Thursday

Anunoby amassed 25 points (10-18 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and four steals in 39 minutes during Thursday's 125-101 win over the Hornets.

Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks in scoring Thursday, but Anunoby had one of his most complete performances of the entire season, notching at least two tallies in each of the five major categories. This was a huge bounce-back performance for the forward, as he was coming off four straight games in which he couldn't reach the 20-point mark right after notching a career-high 40 points in a win over the Nuggets on Nov. 25. Anunoby is averaging 18.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.4 blocks per game over his last 10 contests.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Off the mark from deep again

Anunoby chipped in seven points (2-10 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, four blocks and three steals over 31 minutes during Sunday's 118-85 victory over the Pelicans.

After averaging 21.5 points over 13 games from Nov. 1 to Nov. 25, Anunoby has really begun to struggle shooting the ball of late. Over his last three outings, Anunoby is averaging just 7.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game and has gone 0-for-15 from beyond the arc during this stretch. The 27-year-old two-way forward was very active on the defensive end Sunday against New Orleans, however, recording four blocks and three steals, but things may not get much easier as he looks to get back on track in Tuesday's matchup against a very tough Magic defense.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Scores career-high 40 points

Anunoby notched 40 points (16-23 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one block in 38 minutes during Monday's 145-118 win over the Nuggets.

Anunoby set a new career-high mark in points and was the team's go-to threat on offense, an impressive feat in its own right considering the Knicks also feature players such as Jalen Brunson and Karl-Anthony Towns. Anunoby was remarkably efficient as a scorer but also posted solid contributions in other categories in what turned out to be a career night for the veteran. Anunoby has been excellent for the Knicks of late. He's scored at least 24 points in four of his last six appearances while averaging 24.3 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.3 assists per game in that stretch.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Paces scoring attack

Anunoby racked up 27 points (10-19 FG, 7-12 3Pt), three rebounds, two blocks and three steals across 36 minutes during Saturday's 121-106 loss to the Jazz.

Anunoby led the Knicks in scoring and turned in his best offensive performance of the season to date. He also tied his best mark of the 2024-25 campaign in steals and has now tallied seven over his last three games. Anunoby should continue to be a strong all-around contributor for fantasy managers moving forward, though this type of scoring production is unlikely to occur consistently.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Puts up 25 points Friday

Anunoby had 25 points (10-17 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 4-5 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two steals in 39 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 124-122 win over Brooklyn.

Anunoby matched his best scoring mark of the campaign, and the veteran forward accomplished that by attempting a season-high 17 shots -- a direct result of the absence of Karl-Anthony Towns (knee). Anunoby reached the 20-point mark for the fifth time this season, and while these scoring exploits boost his fantasy upside, he's a reliable fantasy contributor due to his all-around package rather than just his scoring prowess. He's averaging 19.9 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and a combined 2.4 steals-plus-blocks per game in November.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Drops team-high 24 on Sixers

Anunoby provided 24 points (11-16 FG, 2-4 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal across 41 minutes during Tuesday's 111-99 win over the 76ers.

The 27-year-old forward led the Knicks in scoring on a night when all five of the team's starters hit for at least 14 points. Anunoby has found a groove early in the season, topping 20 points in four of the last six contests and averaging 20.0 points, 5.3 boards, 3.3 assists, 2.8 threes, 1.7 steals and 0.8 blocks over that stretch while shooting 52.4 percent from the floor and 48.6 percent from beyond the arc.

Anunoby posted 25 points (9-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists and two steals over 36 minutes during Sunday's 132-121 loss to the Pacers.

Anunoby's 25 points were a new season-high mark, as his strong play in November continued. Over his last five outings, the forward has posted averages of 19.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 1.8 steals and 3.0 three-pointers. He's been red hot from beyond the arc, hitting 48.4 percent of his attempts in that stretch.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: All-around production in win

Anunoby chipped in 14 points (4-12 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 5-6 FT), six rebounds, five assists, two blocks and three steals over 32 minutes during Friday's 116-94 victory over the Bucks.

Anunoby did a little bit of everything but really made his mark defensively, notching a season-high three steals while blocking multiple shots for the second time over eight games. He's also recorded a season-high six rebounds in three consecutive contests and scored in double figures in seven straight. Friday marked only the second time Anunoby has dished out at least five assists this season. While Anunoby's offensive numbers are expected to take a hit playing for the new-look Knicks, the veteran can still be a viable fantasy option because of his defensive prowess.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Efficient from deep in defeat

Anunoby totaled 21 points (7-14 FG, 5-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 40 minutes during Monday's 109-97 loss to the Rockets.

The 27-year-old finished as the Knicks' second-highest scorer behind Jalen Brunson (29) in the loss. Moreover, Anunoby displayed his value as a three-and-D specialist, racking up three steals-plus-blocks and draining a season-high five threes on six attempts. The forward continues to stuff the stat sheet, and he has shot an extremely efficient 44.8 percent from downtown through six regular-season outings.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Records season-high 21 points

Anunoby registered 21 points (8-15 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, six assists and two steals over 33 minutes during Friday's 128-98 win over Detroit.

With Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges on the roster, Anunoby isn't typically asked to score in bunches. However, Anunoby's efficient shooting helped him record a season-high 21 points in Friday's blowout win. Across his first five appearances this season, the 27-year-old forward is averaging 13.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.6 steals in 35.0 minutes.

Anunoby was active on both ends of the floor Monday, taking a season-high 13 field-goal attempts. He also set season highs in steals and blocks in the loss. It's been a relatively underwhelming start for both the Knicks and Anunoby, but he'll eventually shoot better than 16.7 percent from distance.

  • Knicks' OG Anunoby: Expected to play against Washington

Anunoby (rest) is expected to play in Friday's preseason game versus the Wizards, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

Anunoby is expected to suit up Friday alongside the rest of the Knicks' typical starters. However, it would be surprising for Anunoby to receive a full workload.
