Draft Scouting Report
Pro Comparison: Jamari Thrash
Summary
Vinny Anthony is a more intriguing prospect than his production suggests -- which isn’t surprising for a Wisconsin wide receiver. He has an NFL-caliber athletic profile, particularly as a downfield route runner and after-the-catch threat. Unfortunately, he didn’t have a quarterback who could consistently find him downfield. He has some clear shortcomings but could carve out a role in a three-receiver rotation at the next level.
About
- 2025: Led Wisconsin in receptions (31)

Strengths
- Can hit the gas and run past corners.
- Stop-start ability makes him difficult to corral after the catch.
- Fluid hips to present a quick target for quarterbacks.
Weaknesses
- Looks awkward adjusting to off-target throws; doesn’t come naturally.
- Limited production (under 400 yards in 2025).
- Gets out-physicaled too often in route stems.
