Draft Scouting Report
Pro Comparison: Blake Freeland
Summary
Bakyne Coly is a pure project, but by the end of his Purdue career he showed signs of figuring things out. He began on the hardwood as a basketball recruit at Lawrence Tech before transitioning to football and finding success. After transferring to Purdue in 2023, he earned a starting role this past fall. While his play was rough for much of the season, his pass protection improved late in the year. His inexperience and basketball background make him an intriguing late-round option.
