Packers' Jayden Reed: Has movement in all extremities
Coach Matt LaFleur said Reed has movement in all of his extremities after he suffered a neck injury during Sunday's 20-17 overtime win at the Jets, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.
Reed remained on the turf after taking a hit at the end of a four-yard catch on the Packers' second offensive play. He was placed on a backboard before being carted off the field, after which he was quickly ruled out. LaFleur noted that Reed will remain in the New York area overnight for further evaluation. The likes of Skyy Moore, Bo Melton (stinger) and J. Michael Sturdivant will benefit behind Christian Watson and Matthew Golden for as long as Reed is sidelined.

Packers' Jayden Reed: Won't return Sunday
Reed has been ruled out of Sunday's game at the Jets due to a neck injury.
Reed was placed on a backboard and carted off the field after the Packers' second offensive snap, and a neck injury was to blame for his early exit. With Reed sidelined for the rest of Week 2, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Skyy Moore, Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant will handle WR reps for the Packers.

Packers' Jayden Reed: Gets carted off field
Reed (undisclosed) was carted off the field during Sunday's game at the Jets, Weston Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.
On the Packers' second offensive snap, Reed remained on the turf and was moved to a backboard before being placed on the cart to head to the locker room. The nature of his injury isn't known, but if he's unable to return, the Packers will be down to Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Skyy Moore, Bo Melton and J. Michael Sturdivant at wide receiver in Week 2.

Packers' Jayden Reed: Seven targets in loss
Reed caught three of his seven targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 39-22 loss to the Vikings.
Reed saw the third-most targets for the Packers behind Matthew Golden (12) and Christian Watson (eight), but the wide receiver could not haul in enough to match either's production. Tucker Kraft's 60 yards and Jonnu Smith's 50 yards also outproduced Reed on fewer targets, meaning Week 1 may not have instilled Jordan Love with much trust in the wide receiver.

Packers' Jayden Reed: Competing with Golden for WR2 spot
Reed is one of six wide receivers on the Packers' initial 53-man roster, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.
Reed is joined by Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Bo Melton, Skyy Moore and J. Michael Sturdivant in Green Bay's wide receiver room, while Savion Williams (ankle) is on IR with a designation to return, meaning the 2025 third-round pick will miss at least four weeks before possibly factoring into the equation as well. Reed has historically been productive when healthy despite frequently coming off the field in two-wide sets, with his 63.2 percent snap share during the 2024 regular season representing his single-season career high. Watson is locked in as a starter, but Reed could earn a larger share of playing time if he holds off the 2025 first-round pick Golden.
