The Giants reinstated Bryce Eldridge from the bereavement list Thursday, so Kennedy is getting the boot to create roster room. Kennedy slashed .154/.267/.154 across 30 plate appearances in a 13-game span after he joined San Francisco via waiver claim Aug. 2.
