Kelenic was released by the Rangers on Sunday, Jeff Wilson of AllDLLS.com reports.
Kelenic will become a free agent after posting a .374 average with five home runs, 17 RBI, 30 runs scored and seven stolen bases over 107 at-bats in 27 contests with Triple-A Round Rock. The outfielder hasn't shown the ability to produce consistently at the major-league level, but his minor-league production will likely lead to a new suitor in the near future.
