The Rangers re-signed Kelenic to a minor-league contract Wednesday.
Kelenic has posted a 1.110 OPS in 28 games with Triple-A Round Rock this season but has slashed just .213/.304/.295 over 26 contests in the majors with the White Sox and Rangers. The former top prospect will give Texas some experienced outfield depth at Round Rock.
