McMahon went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 3-2 win against Miami. McMahon had the only extra-base hit by either team in the contest, and it was a big one, as his sixth-inning, 438-foot solo shot broke a 2-2 tie and ended up providing the decisive margin of victory. The long ball snapped a 20-game homerless streak for the infielder, and he had batted a meager .155 with a 31.3 percent strikeout rate during the power drought. McMahon now has 17 home runs overall this season, putting him on pace to reach the 20-homer mark for the fourth consecutive campaign.
