  • Siri went 2-for-4 with a homer, a double, and four RBI in Tuesday's 8-3 victory over the Red Sox. The Tampa Bay outfielder put the team in front by a 3-2 margin with his 339-foot solo shot down the left-field line in the fifth inning. Siri later drove home the Rays' last three runs of the game with a bases-clearing double in the eighth. The 29-year-old has fallen out of everyday playing time, starting just 10 of Tampa Bay's 16 games in September, thanks in part to a team-worst 159 Ks in 431 total plate appearances. He is now slashing .192/.262/.379 with 18 homers, 16 doubles, 48 runs scored and 47 RBI this season.

Siri went 2-for-4 with a double, a triple and a run scored Friday against the Guardians. Siri has struggled considerably across the last three weeks, going just 5-for-46 with a 42 percent percent strikeout rate. He's still started 13 of 21 games in center field in that span but has ceded some playing time to the combination of Jonny DeLuca and Dylan Carlson.
