Swanson went 2-for-5 with a three-run home run and an additional RBI in Monday's 9-2 win over the Athletics. While Swanson has had a disappointing season overall by his standards, he's at least trying to finish it on a high note. The shortstop is batting .305 in September with three home runs, nine RBI and 15 runs scored in 14 games. The surge has pushed Swanson's season average up to .237, and he now has 15 total long balls through 139 games.

Swanson went 1-for-5 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's 6-2 win over the Rockies. Swanson is up to 17 steals on the year, with 10 of them coming since the start of August. He's batting .275 in that span, a vast improvement on his .235 average for the year. The shortstop has still offered decent counting stats with 14 home runs, 58 RBI, 72 runs scored and 23 doubles over 138 contests, but his .685 OPS is his lowest mark in a full season since 2017.

Swanson went 3-for-5 with a double, a home run, an additional run scored and three total RBI in Wednesday's 12-0 win over the Pirates. It's been a down year overall for Swanson, but he's getting things going lately. Over his last 10 games, the Chicago shortstop is batting .385 with four home runs, 14 runs scored and 15 RBI. Swanson is now up 14 long balls for the season. The 30-year-old might be hard pressed to reach the 20-homer plateau for the fourth straight year, though given his recent hot streak, it's not out of the question with 22 games to go.

Swanson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Pirates. Swanson launched his 13th home run of the season in the third inning, helping the Cubs build an early 3-0 lead that they eventually squandered. Chicago's shortstop has largely fallen short of expectations overall this year with a .687 OPS, but he's been more productive of late, posting a .296 average with four long balls and 14 RBI across his last 15 games. Swanson should continue to see regular playing time as the Cubs fight to stay in the playoff race.

Swanson went 4-for-6 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI in Sunday's win against Washington. Swanson matched his career-best mark with four hits Sunday and has now recorded an RBI in six consecutive games. After a lackluster start to the season, the 30-year-old has quietly provided excellent fantasy value since Aug. 1, batting .287 with 10 extra-base hits, 21 runs scored, 22 RBI and eight stolen bases in 106 plate appearances.
