The Angels released Cimber (shoulder) on July 23. Cimber was moved off the Angels' 40-man roster July 22 and was given the opportunity to find work in another organization after clearing waivers a day later. The 33-year-old right-hander posted a 7.03 ERA and 1.40 WHIP over 24.1 innings out of the Angels bullpen before landing on the injured list June 15 with shoulder inflammation.
