Gimenez scored the game-winning run in the 10th frame after drawing a walk as the second batter in the inning. Prior to that, the second baseman singled and stole second base in the fifth frame. That theft was Gimenez's 30th of the campaign, marking his second straight season reaching 30 steals.

Gimenez went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Rays. Gimenez didn't show much speed through July, but he's now logged 13 thefts on 15 attempts across 41 games since the start of August. The second baseman is up to 29 steals on the year, one shy of matching his career high from last year. He's maintained a .253/.302/.338 slash line with eight home runs, 59 RBI, 62 runs scored, 20 doubles and one triple over 141 contests.

Gimenez went 2-for-5 with a stolen base and one RBI in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the White Sox. Gimenez saw a seven-game hitting streak end Monday, but he was right back at it with his second multi-hit effort of the month. The second baseman's improved batting in the second half of the season has helped him return to the No. 2 spot in the order versus right-handers after spending much of the campaign in the bottom half of the lineup. Gimenez is now at a .254/.304/.342 slash line with 28 steals, eight home runs, 58 RBI and 60 runs scored over 137 contests.

Gimenez went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases in Saturday's loss to the Dodgers. Gimenez singled and stole second in his first at-bat and added a leadoff knock in the seventh before swiping his second bag of the night. The second baseman would go on to reach three times in the contest, and he's now hit safely in six straight games to open the month. It marked his second two-steal effort this season and his seventh game with at least three hits. Gimenez is now slashing .320/.370/.640 in September with two homers, four RBI and three runs scored.

The second baseman hasn't hit for much power this year, but he has three homers over his last seven games to give him eight long balls on the year. Overall, he's slashing .251/.303/.343 with 57 RBI, 60 runs scored and 25 stolen bases through 133 contests.
